Templar Radiant Aura Magickasteal does NOT work

I already /bugged it in game, but posting here so that the community is aware.
It was obvious from day 1 that the Magickasteal debuff from the Radiant Aura morph is different, in a bad way, to Magickasteal from Ele drain since it pulls aggro. I have now discovered that it also DOES NOT return magicka. It returned 0 magicka despite a 100% uptime during the fight.
Ele drain still works.

Draqone✭✭✭✭Upon further testing:
The Magickasteal from Aura overwrites Maickasteal from Ele drain, and vice versa.
I cast ele drain, then my friend cast Aura. Screenshot of Aura overwriting the buff and of the Aura drain not working:

Reorx_Holybeard✭✭✭✭✭So the debuffs between Elemental Drain and Radiant Aura are different but I can't duplicate your results. If I start the fight by casting Radiant Aura I get the Magicka ticks back. If I start with Elemental Drain and recast Radiant Aura I still get the Magicka ticks back.
Perhaps it is something to do with different people casting the two abilities? Can you go into some more detail on what works and doesn't work with Radiant Aura with your testing?Reorx Holybeard -- NA/PC

That's not exactly what happens. What happens is:
When my templar friend (shoutout to @M.Portal82 ) cast Aura, I did not benefit from Magickasteal.

You might be onto something. It seems that if I cast it for myself, it works (mine is Rank 1, his is Rank 4). It did not work for me when my friend casted it.
Before we tested I drained all my Magicka casting Harness Magicka. The way we tested:
First try:
My friend cast Aura on a Mammoth.
I hit it till it died.
No Magickasteal resource return.
Second try:
I cast Ele drain on a Mammoth.
I hit it till it died.
Magickasteal present.
Third try:
I cast ele drain on a Mammoth.
My friend cast Aura on a Mammoth.
I hit it till it died.
No Magickasteal resource return.
Testing right now if it works for caster only or not.
UPDATE:
Rank 1 of the skill seems not affected. Unfortunately I will not be able to test Rank 4 for a few hours. Would be amazing if anyone could test if:
Rank 4 radiant aura returns magicka to caster.

✭✭✭✭✭Are we sure it's not an issue of misworded tooltip? For example, it states the enemy must be hit by the templar aura but there is no mention that your teammate must be also in the aura's range at activation.
