Now I know end game some dungeon like normal ones can be done no tank or heals just dps threw. But when your lvling a new toon, not end game, or on certain dungeons it's nice to have a tank and heals. I really wish zos would add a way for the game to check if your tank or heals ready if not can't que up as those. Or only let you que as 1 role not all 3 just to get a group faster.
I also understand dps que is terribly long to this I say help the problem don't be a part of it make a healer or a tank. If your just farming gear run it on your healer till you get it then bank swap to your toon that needs it. If more people did this then the ones who have to que on dps either for achievements or dailys or whatever could find groups faster as more tanks and healers for groups and less dps clogging the que.
Any healer could also DD, 90% of tanks would also have an DD build.hmsdragonfly wrote: »There are a lot of people who legitimately can fill in multiple roles.
This solution will kill the game for many people, so it's not a good idea at all.
I queue with 3 characters usually.
My Nightblade is a DPS/Healer (I queue as healer)
My sorc is a DPS healer (I queue as healer)
My Templar is a Healer/Tank (I usually queue as healer because I'm thinking of switching her tanking gear).
What do you suggest I queue as?

You may do those things adequately for solo questing, but I've yet to see a Nightblade healer worth jack squat in Vet dungeons.
1. DPS
2. DPS
3. Healer, but only if wearing LA healing set. HA tanking stamina healer really does none of the roles.

My nightblade has successfully healed vet dungeons as well as trials. She was actually my first character to finish vWGT and she was the healer.
1 and 2. I honestly thing they work better as healers than DPS, but that's just me.
3. She wears SPC and Worm for healing and Pariah and Armor Master for tanking. She's not a stam build. Reconsidering tanking sets, though I've not settled on anything yet.
You should probably let go of your preconceptions about what classes can do. Are there people who queue as tank/healer who don't know what they are doing? Yes. But there are plenty of people who can heal and/or tank on the class of their choice, and do it really well.

Two things.
Firstly, Nightblade healer might not work in competitive vet trial runs but right now any class can pick up a restro and heal vet dungeons just fine, now that everyone can feed stamina to the group not just Templar.
Secondly, Magicka Templar tanks do exist (they are OP af in PvP but that's the story for a different day). If you want to do competitive vet trial runs you should go with meta, but it's a vet dungeon, you can easily have a tank setup and a healer setup for your Templar.

I'm sure it's possible, but un likely. I've been running pug Vets for two years now.
I have seen 1, yes 1 adequate hybrid healer. He was a Sorcerer.
I understand everyone on the forums is Yoloswag420MLG hybrid NB healers, speed running Vet WGT.
Unfortunately, for 99.98% of players, this is not reality.

? You claimed you have never seen a nb healer worth a damn.. people are telling you nb healers are exceptional. I main heal vet hof on nb. Pug or otherwise, if they are built as a healer, there is no reason to assume they are bad any more than a templar showing up in a vet pug should be assumed bad. Your logic applies to all players regardless of their chosen class.

So you are saying, a person should cripple him/herself when that person can legitimately fill in multiple roles? Name a class, I will brainstorm for you a tank setup, a DPS setup and a healer setup for vet dungeons that you can switch on the fly right here right now.

Nope. You didn't account for the people that "think" they can do all three roles, so they select them all.
It's not always a DPS trying to get a group faster.
How exactly would your "solution" solve anything? DPS would just queue solely as tank and/or healer and carry on doing what they are doing.
Your "solution" will only inconvenience people who actually are set up to both tank/heal etc.
