At release. I played my Sorc as a pet build, but ended leaving ESO - The pets are too weak to be a pet class. Then came the Warden, and i got the feeling that this class would give me the chance to play a petclass. But the pets ended up been as weak as the sorc and I left again.

I believe I will try again, if the release a new class that have pets. But I also fear that I will leave again! - I believe that I am not alone :open_mouth:

Sorc pet builds are OP this patch -- using pets still sucks tho.

At release pet build sucked except for some soloing but the game always changes, they introduce huge balance changes every major patch. Since launch pets have gotten more health, more armor, (bad) controls, active skills and ~80% aoe attacks immunity. In Homestead patch they were godmode op, best dps hands down, they got nerfed with Morrowind but they can still do more than decently.

The game's always changing, if you want to pick a build and always stick to it then be ready for it to be buffed and nerfed and end up absolutely useless in some patches and godmode op in others(with some tweaks here and there). It's about learning the new rules and adapting. If you don't want to do that then you are probably better off not playing this game.

Most people in this thread won't even know what that is...or even the song playing...

As far as warden pets, I have no issues with the bear. I actually like that I can send him in ahead of me and stay at range. The bear is also helpful to send in if there are mobs guarding a chest or resource node. Bear fights, I loot then finish up the fight.

Of course you're not alone. You have ... pets.

But really, what were you expecting? They don't play the game for you.

    @timborggrenlarsenb16_ESO

First, MMOs already require change. Well, anyone who wants great dps. Rotation changes and such are normal.

Second, Sorc pet build is currently solid. Sry solid and very much on par with non pet builds.

Third, Warden hasn't really been out long so no one has a great build solidified. Also, pet build doesn't mean that bear will be used. The warden has several pets to use and limiting your requirement to a summoned let like the bear is a very narrow focus.

So do what you want even though it appears you have not played Warden lol if enough to figure it out but understand we don't know you so aren't really in edge you may leave.

Appears to me what is desired is an overpowered Pet Class, in which the player can simply show up and watch TV on a second monitor while the Pets kill everything. I could be wrong. ;)

Your not gonna get a great reaponse with the this. But had you said pet classes in Eso are by far the most horrible and half finished of any AAA premium MMo , you would be correct. They are an after thought . Very little customization, very situational and some of the worst AI , you would really have no one to argue. Even a game like EQ2 released in 2004 had a far superior system and even some classes could charm mobs and make them pets. Eso has done a lot of things good and a lot of things bad , this one goes under the list of bad and barely aplpha State

Sorc pet build is one of the top dps builds in the game. Ever heard of 'Necropotence'?

It's okay to drop the game for a while. Chances are likely that if you put enough time in to this game, you'll come back when you see an update of your liking. I've been playing on and off since the release, and I'm okay with that. Saying you've left again is nothing new, players do it all the time. It's okay to put the controller down or to swap out to play something else. The beauty of diversity in the gaming industry! And even better, you know you can always continue from where you left off with ESO. So go, go play other games, go outside, do what you got to do, ESO will be here when you get back.

Pets builds are very strong. There are many sites out on the web with sorc and warden pet builds. You should Google some of the builds (includes gear and skill rotation) and try them out.

Why do people feel the need to make these posts? Unless you are a very popular YouTuber or streamer, no one cares about you leaving. Not only does your story go nowhere, but you obviously haven't done any research into the specs you are looking for. Maybe you spend more than a few days playing the next game, and learn the classes before you write them off. Please avoid Dauntless, I don't want this "my spec is weak" crap in there too.

I'll go one further and say that if you are a "popular YouTuber or streamer" I still don't care if you leave. Happy trails!
