The Dwarven Crown Crate Season is Actually Pretty Good

Am I the only one that feels like this? I love how they added so much for the new crown crate season and I just love most of the items they've added! I love the fact they brought back the original three hero costumes, the awesome looking pets like the Clockwork Shalk, and the mounts, OMG THE MOUNTS! I'm not really speaking of the Dwarven though, I mean I like how they added rare versions of the horse, wolf, and senche that are only obtainable from the crown crates, those look pretty nice with the color change, but overall I'm not a big fan of the Dwarven mounts' appearance (Wouldn't complain if I got one though) but I'm talking about the mounts they added as Legendary rewards! The Striped Wolf mount looks so cool (I like wolfs a lot and this one looks amazing!), loved the fact they brought back the Pale Velothi Guar and the Dro-m'Athra Senche both being really awesome looking mounts! The rest of the costumes don't look half bad, the only thing keeping me down would probably have to be the hats, not the best IMO. But I'll definitely be spending money this crown crate season.

The dromathra senche was a old mount and they re-introduced it, it used to cost 4000crowns. The RNG in this season is worse than the previous 2...opened like 34 crates and got nothing nice at all just junks2 -

✭If these were for sale... I would maybe consider it. Otherwise I will just be happy with my assortment of bears, wolfs, horses, guars and senche I already have. Most of the mounts in the store lately or in the crates are absurdly flashy. All of them seem pale in comparison to the snow bear or senche tiger because of that. I value those far less then the ones previously offered and despise free to play rng boxes.1 -

✭✭I got a 4 pack and got an animated odd looking sweet roll from one.. It was really weird but actually EPIC, it did some special thing when i got it and it said it was a furnishing item for your house, and worth a large amount of gems. 400 crown gems to be exact, crazzzyy, basically lets you get any of those new mounts you want... Wonder what the odds are of pulling it..

✭✭✭✭✭I like most of the stuff IN the crates, I just hate the rng system and that it has to be a gambling item to either get something you want or rip gems to get something you want.
I could understand that perspective, and I do agree with it. Even though I've had relatively good success with crown crates thus far, I would much rather prefer that things return to how they were previously. Meaning that I would prefer mounts and other "fluff" items be available in the Crown Store (without any RNG involved). Just a simple transaction of spending a certain amount of crowns, for a certain amount of items. Done and done. No hassle, no RNG, and no disappointment.3 -

And the best thing: On Argonians this hairstyle is Eoki´s (or what´s his name .. the slave you free during the Vvardenfell-starter-quest. This one: http://orcz.com/ESO_Morrowind:_Eoki). On all other races the curly braids look silly, but the featherbraids on Argonians look great!
But: 50% Nixhound. Not cool.

Totally agree! One of the things I really liked when I first started playing this game that the cash shoppe was all direct-buy. You saw something you wanted, you paid the crowns, you got it. No lottery, no gambling, no RNG. If you wanted a specific item, you got it directly, no rip-off microtransaction game with insulting gem-to-duplicate item ratio or junky consumable items. You didn't finish your purchase feeling like you just got scammed.
Crown crates are the only thing in the cash shoppe that I feel buyers remorse over getting. I should not have to rely on a rigged RNG to give me items I would gladly directly buy with crowns!

Got the dwarven bear on my 2nd crate ... guar on the 3rd crate ..... its not supposed to work this way ... quick ZOS patch it fast!!
Bears right front leg looks dislocated when running also my vamps ball sack are also being crushed brutally during the riding animation as he is forced to straddle the bears girth in a half split while galloping
But i think that was intended by Z0$1 -
Also got nix hound but killed it n tossed it on my burning compost heap in my back yard in mournoth keep2

HEXENWOLF✭✭✭I'm unimpressed by this season of crates. Compared to the lighted mounts from the last two seasons the Dwarven mounts are unspectacular in almost every way. And the gold color is terribly off-putting. That said, I don't expect every crown season to appeal to me. I'm happy some people are enjoying the new stuff. I'll hold onto my crowns and wait for something I find more appealing.1 -

Hmm... So the Dwarven Bear has a dislocated leg, and the Dwarven Senche has no teeth...
It seems to me that the Dwarven Wolf truly is the most superior mount. The jumping and running animations are smooth, and the teeth placement is quite nice. The placement of the armoring also looks quite nice. Besides the Dwarven Wolf, the Dwarven Guar seems to be the second best aesthetically pleasing mount. It also has smooth running animation, with absolutely amazing detailing to it.
I unfortunately haven't had a chance to really examine the camel or horse, but from the looks of things — they too share the awkward mouth that the Dwarven senche has. But then again, perhaps some people like that on their mounts. Who knows?0 -

You can preview it on your character from the crown store. It looks gorgeous on red hair but meh.
