Exploiter CP passive - does it work on bosses?

So I am stuck a bit on the final boss in vma and was wondering whether the Exploiter passive in the blue CP line applies to bosses, triggered by the Wall of Elements when lightining staff is quiped

I am currently wearing random infernal sharpened staff, but want to buy lightining staff to trigger the Exploiter passive with the Wall of Elements (Wall of stroms)

Does Wall of Storms set bosses in vma off balance so I can deal 10% increased damage with the Exploiter passive?

The UESP has a list of abilities (mostly in the destruction staff line) that cause an initial concussion effect ... where applying Wall of Storms will proc the off balance and 10% increased damage from the Ritual constellation.

So, the short answer is "yes" ... as long as the NPC has been concussed per the Wall of Storms tooltip.

The overreaching issue, however, is that mastering the Round 9 Final Boss mechanics is much more important than DPS. Read up on the mechanics ... there are a lot of guides in the forums, YouTube, and ESO streaming sites.

In other words, my opinion is to focus on the steak and not on the peas ...

Using the exploiter passive is more an top-end optimization thing in vMA. As Tale says, you need to focus on the strat for now, and when you'll be able to kill it every time without dying and in as short time, the exploiter passive will become interesting.

And even here, without a shock infused staff with a lightning enchant, don't try to use exploiter in solo play unless you are a sorc.

Or a mDK built around off-balance to proc Power Lash.

I never understood what does the charged enchantment do on a weapon, could you explain please? WHat is status effect?
I am completing the vma with a pet sorcerer build

I think they meant charged trait, which increases your chance to proc status effects, like concussion. Concussed enemies are set off balance by Wall of Storms. I use a charged lightning staff (Spinner to make up for the lose of penetration) on my DK so I can proc Power Lash more often.
