This has been suggested since the game launched. A quick perusal through some threads led to the following posts. It's a great idea, and I cannot discern the reason that it has not been implemented. So again How about you add class sub forums please.

*I would have just commented on the posts above but did not want to run afoul of the anti-necro-thread crowd.

Here is the problem with Class Sub forums. If there isn't a active person from ZOS on that subforum all the time, keeping track of valuable feedback about that class at that point in time and stuff. Then it's pretty much useless to implement. Blizzard has implemented the same thing but here is the thing. They don't keep track of feedback on those subforums very often and as a result the problems involving that class, or the improvements the community who plays/ likes that class will be pretty much ignored or just downright brushed off because there is more pressing issues about that class when they've finally gotten around to reading that feedback.

This wouldn't be a issue if ZoS has the means of spending that much effort on such things like that. But I don't think they have the means to be able to pay off that many extra salaries for something like that. If they do have enough extra employees to do something like that, then would it be worth the effort? Sure, if they actually keep track of all the feedback on those forums all the time. Will it be implemented? Meh I doubt it. But you never know. Do I like the idea? Sure, sounds neat but in practice there is issues about it which needs to be addressed.

They do make specific class threads during large patch test phases (curiously, though, there was not one for Morrowind) and they usually end up being giant landfills. I think that is their intended use, anyways.

Lots of people can't even find the combat and character subforum and just dump everything in general, what makes you think this would work?

These forums have always had the least functional organization I've seen in MMO forums these days.

    Here's a rule of thumb.

    1. Post in General. If it gets moved by a moderator, your post is now in the correct spot.
    2. ?????
    3. Profit
Make PC NA raiding great again!

    Down with drama!

How does this have anything to do with having specific sub forums for classes...

It's possible I am misunderstanding your response, assuming I am not, I would say that providing information for Dev consumption is a laudable goal. However I want class forums so that when I want to check on the latest info for any class, new builds or arguments over CP distribution for example , I have one location per class to go to and look up.

Great timing of this thread, OP ... since they just added a new class into the game.

Not to sidetrack this great idea ... I would also like to see a housing forum along with a class subforum.
