But.. you know.. my level 9 character has over 630 Champion points. Why can't he wear that sweet cp 160 gear yet? :P
Right, this is why I don't think this suggestion would work. If gear only said "Champion 160", I would expect to be able to wear it on my Level 30 character who has 200 CPs, since they have fulfilled all the listed requirements. It needs to say Level 50 as well so thst you know you need to be Level 50 in addition to having 160 CPs.

Thankyou for the reply guys. Sorry the late response I was away.

Am I correct in saying that if you had one char for example at CP 250, and you created a new char. The new char would be at level 1 but have all the shared 250 CP points also?

I thought you had to level your second char to level50 before the shared CP points are active on the second char?

Thankyou for your time and hope to speak soon.

Only level 50 characters can earn XP toward new champion points, but all characters, even brand new level 1s, can spend and benefit from the CPs you have on your account, so in your example you are correct: the new character will have 250 CPs to spend and will benefit fully from whatever bonuses they provide.

    Not really?

Have 'Level' on standard gear and 'Champion' on CP gear? Wouldn't that make sense to new players still?

No. A level 10 player with 350 CP could - with good reason - assume, that he is able to equip CP160 gear, since this would be the only requirement shown on the gear.

Of course such a player should know better, but still, omitting a requirement to be shown on the item is just wrong.

    Thanks for the replies.

I understand now. I hand on heart honestly thought if you start a new char your back at level1 with no shared champion points.

    Thanks again.
