It's just too hot to play ESO - it's nearly 100 degrees f (36 degrees c) here, all the time, it doesn't even cool down in the evening... not only does my pc melt but i melt as well and my brain has constant blue screen... how do you do it????

Any tips for people that don't have something like an ac?

Put your feet in a cold/icy bucket of water. I advise you to not do that with your PC, though.

I recall those nights in Hell Paso, TX. 99º until 3am it went down 80º then back to 99º by 7am.

Back then I was playing morrowind unless it was too hot, just watch some movies.

I live in Rio de Janeiro.

Tell me about how hot is it there, love. We don't have winters here.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

If you don't have an AC, watch the temps on your PC. It really isn't good for your electronics to have the ambient room temperature above 78 F.

Get a portable air conditioner or good swamp cooler for $500, if you don't have the $ to get a new one then get a used one off of Craigslist or ebay. Well worth it. It will make a medium sized room stay in the 60's when it's 105 outside.

Ice+5 gallon bucket+ small desktop fan+ pvc tubing and you've got yourself a cheap AC. It works great. I made one just for giggles and I actually bring it when we're camping. It's a fun project to do and it will keep you cool when gaming.

Hahaa! Cheers! But not in my corner of Finland, west coast, lots of nice 25 C ´ or more summer heat on our yard between the rainy and very windy days :p ! Not tropical but my CPU just went down last week saying it had heated to 80 C`´, had to clean out all the khajiit fur from inside though, it helped , after that steady 48 C` cpu warmth ;)
(What can I do, khajiit likes to hang out by the great dwemer machine...)
Ja hyvää Juhannusta! = Happy Midsummersday!

Try one of these. I haven't built one yet but it is theoretically sound. Although I'd try to use a cooler instead of just the bucket

Even during winter? I mean, not under 10° C?
