Morrowind only usable by one player profile on console

Anyone else think that it is WRONG that Morrowind is ONLY usable by ONE player profile on a console?!? And that it is NOT shared on the console... like the DLC of pretty much EVERY OTHER GAME?!?

Tell that to ZOS - that is how they are referring to it in my complaint emails.

And even if it is/was a "complete game" it WOULD be shareable to all player profiles on my console. I only use the term "DLC" because ZOS has referred to it as that and a "chapter"... which is how ZOS is trying to "justify" the fact that it is only usable by one player profile.

But I PAID for said "chapter" for my console - NOT for ONE PLAYER on my console...

Unfortunately what you think you paid for and what ZOS was selling is not the same. See my response in your other thread about this.

I don't know which way is right in regards to console. PC players have to buy it per account and this is rather traditional in the MMO world. Sticky situation on console.

It is kinda of bogus... not a dlc so eso plus ppl need to buy it... not a full game so people who share a ps4 has to buy for each account? It sucks but they are again silent....

I understand the PC players have been screwed over like this since MMOs came out... but for console users this is new (at least to me). IF it had been stated ANYWHERE in the advertising that it was NOT going to be shared, like the main game IS shared, I DEFINITELY WOULD HAVE SKIPPED the "chapter".

And THAT is the basis of my argument... it was advertised as being an "addition" to a game that was shared.

It's a valid complaint, and I don't see why ZOS gets to be the exception to the rule. Every other game and its DLC I own on Xbox One is shared.

Not really new. The Imperial Edition was the same. Base game is shared, but none of the bonuses are shared. I.e. you only get the Imperial horse on one account, you only get the ability to change armor to Imperial style on one account, pets, etc.

A quick footnote that there is somewhat of an exception... I did get the Imperial Edition bonuses on a new EU account (after already getting them in NA). But, again, only on one EU account.

Are the other DLC, like Orsinium shared? If yes, the OP has a point. If no, than the OP has no point.

It doesn't matter how any other game works. If other DLC is associated with ESO account, you should have already known that was the case. If the other DLC is associated with the XBOX account and all have access to it, then ZOS would be sketchy to change that.

No, other DLC is not shared. But they can be bought with Crowns or played with ESO+, where Morrowind cannot be.

I agree it should be shareable but the other ESO dlc is not.... however morrowind is different to the other dlcs: can be purchased with crowns.
Morrowind is its own update/download so imho it should be shareable. Very sneaky of them.
