Aion did this as well.

Is this the same ZOS who said ESO would always require a sub to play? And the same ZOS that said there would be NO gamble boxes?
No does not mean NO to ZOS, it's more a solid maybe.

But this is something that would be a major overhaul to the game itself and is wanted by so very few people to not be worth the effort nor problems it would cause.

I wouldn't call 40-50% of active FORUM posters "very few people". I would make a guess that most people who play the game do not post on the forums . I'll say it again but in my opinion in order to get an accurate representation of peoples opinions on the issue they need to ask this question at login once.

First I highly doubt it is 40-50% of active forum users. Seems to me it is five or six people posting multiple threads each. The number of people against an auction house most always outnumbers the number who support it in each thread created. That aside even if it were 90-100% of "active FORUM posters" that would still be less than 1% of the total game population. Don't mistake a majority here as being anywhere near representative of the game playing views.

Didn't you just prove my point; your statement that an AH is wanted ' by very few people' is based on the viewpoints expressed in the forums of which you now state that it represents less then 1%. So it isnt accurate to say that an AH is wanted by few people, we don't really know
