Today this one was heading from the Harborage in Stonefalls back to the wayshrine. As usual this one was keeping an eye out for anything shiny and lo and behold there was this blue shimmer of one of the beloved thieve troves. It was guarded by some ghostly monster thingies that this one dispatched easily.
Since this Khajiit felt secure enough, he didn't retract his claws to sneakily get the shinies o:) . After all, the monster-thingies were dead, yes? So this one just grabbed the trove with his sticky paws.
Then this one heard the voice of a female telling him "I am afraid I have to report you". This one got confused, yes? Where has there been anyone witnessing this ones paws reaching for the shiny in the first place.
This one then turned around and saw a female Argonian in the shape of a ghost with a weird marker above her head :o . Surely this Ghost wasn't able to report his one to the proper authorities? And if she would be able to...how would she then expect this innocent Khajiit to even lift a claw for her, no?

    LOL, reported by an ghost.
    Makes more sense than being reported by an chicken.
    After all if the ghost can speak to you she can speak to the guards, unlike chickens she also think stealing is wrong.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    It clearly says 'Steal'. You're not innocent if you took it.

    This one suspects she posessed a different person just to put the blame on this one. And it clearly says "Thieve trove"....this one assumed being a thief himself would entitle this one to put his paws into it.

    Being reported by chickens? This Khajiit surely needs to avoid walking into this Skyrim place, yes?

    Some of those bandit 3-packs in Morrowind also have errorneously "innocent" flag and if you kill them you'll be granted Murderer achievement (assuming you didn't have it before).
