Vicious Ophidian weapons...help

Can anyone offer me any advice on the fastest or most efficient way to get them? I have run 30+ vet and normal trials specifically to farm these and I haven't even seen one, not even with an undesirable trait.

Pray to @wrobel someone in your group get one its very hard to get one I never seen a sharpened stam weapon of VO drop.A few sharpened inferno and Lightening Staffs of VO never a sharp sword or dagger.

Theyre just very rare

Farming weapons is a nightmare, once it took me half of year to get a certain set weapon.

Maybe selling your soul to devil would help, but even then I'm not sure.

Better off having one trial set and one crafted set to fill the gaps. Weapons are too rare.

I have 2 sharpened daggers, paid 250k for the first and 450k for the second. Keep farming, and if one drops make sure you have a nice amount of gold to offer to persuade the potential seller. PS : I got those almost a year ago, they will probably cost you much more gold than that nowadays.

Try getting on the weekly weapons drop a lot in the mail.

They exist. I've got a sharpened VO greatsword/maul and a sharpened VO bow a few times. Keep raiding, pick up the treasure hunter cp passive and you'll eventually start getting them.

A guild mate got both sharp vo 1h weapons from weekly leaderboard rewards this past Sunday. I got trash Yokeda decon material. FeelsBadMan

I've a Sharp -Dagger and Precise Axe, as well I know a few other who have these weapons. It's just that they are super rare. Before Homestead, they were much easier to farm as the weapons dropped from Hel-Ra- 1st Boss, and me with my guild we farmed them all, but ofc ZOS had to *** it up.
So gl with your farm, i havn't seen any in my 50+ runs after Homestead.
But on the same matter, I fail to understand, WHY IS IT THAT A SHARP INFERNO/ LIGHTENING STAFF OF VO WILL DROP MORE FREQUENTLY THAN AETHER OR OTHER MAGICA SET? IS THE SMART DROP SYSTEM EVEN WORKING?

I wouldn't waste my time, unless you're going for a leaderboard score and absolutely need them. If that's the case, all I can say is good luck

(there is no shortcut).

I usually get inventive and match trial/dungeon sets with a crafted or overland set so I can use weapons from that set.

Weapons/Shields: 0.5 chances at drops, out of a pool of 312 possibilities (3 sets * 13 possible pieces * 8 traits), for a 1-in-624 chance of getting a specific piece in one dungeon run.

The rest of the OP of that thread shows the comparison to armor pieces, which you are already aware the chances of getting the armor pieces you desire is significantly higher. Zos makes getting weapons the hardest part of the game. It is what players who want the weapons spend the most time working on.

Its very difficult, thats an understatement. I got two fanged mace and bow sharp, but no other from vo or two fanged. and you might want to farm with friends or guildies who are willing to part with those weapons. The people that farm trials are usually looking to get those weapons as well, so you have to pay big bucks or pray it drops for you.

It still explains the issues. weapons still drop only on the last boss, though I do not think it competes with jewelry, but still competes with shields.

If u do 500+ runs and still wont get sharp than you know so something is wrong...

Saying this... I believe I did ~500+ runs in which I was lucky enough to get Sharpened Axe and Precise Dagger, Precise Sword and Infused Dagger. This also counts my guildmates' help who shared their weapons (basically drop-chance being x12 and not x1).
