So i was minding my own business when all of the sudden this happened. Now i have been away from 5 months and i dont know if this is common or not but video might help you fix it.

    This happend to me today aswell. And no he wasn't cloaking but going ham on me with procs.

    A few seconds after I died I could see him. It was like he didn't render for me for some reason. xD

    It doesnt make sense, I had 21k HP, blocked the whole time after cc break.

    We DID have random invisible players for a while but that got fixed. I really hope it's not back.

    Were you lagging? I've have some weird lag stuff. Tonight I saw everyone (including me) fly up in the air and get knocked down and the DK that lept us didn't show up for 3 or 4 seconds.

    No i was not lagging. There is ping on the bottom left side of the screen. The video is slowed down right before I get attacked.

    I had a fair bit of that happening last night (PC EU). Quite a few times I'd run in to fight one or 2 players only to have 10+ enemies render around me 5 seconds later, at which point I realised mistakes were made and I'd run head first into a group about to siege or something :D
    Ability delay was also a thing for me last night too, made for some very..... odd fights lol.

    Your ping and FPS looked good so I wouldn't blame lag for that . Not sure what in oblivion that was .

    But if you look at the video you can see the speed at which he received the damage by looking at the eye-souring interface. The floating shows the damage dealt so fast and he goes from full health to almost zero in a second. Then the recap shows different skills. So yes, either lag or animation cancelling killed him so fast.

    I cant say that its this bug for certain, but crit rush from cloak or sneak causes a miniature macroslice, that can very well be what you encountered, coupled with lag or something.

    I agree. My gank combo does so much burst, when i kill someone and a health desync happens all i see is a body slidding around until they finally stop and the server catches up on what happend.

    What op experienced is probably what it looks like on his end.

    It has nothing to do with animation canceling lol, on the NB screen he was right up at the player attacking what to him looked like someone who wasn't fighting back. While from the receiving end the NB appeared to not even be there, and OP dies

    Same thing happens in the first clip of this video, where on my end I'm receiving a soul assault that I can't even see (but the combat log picks it up). But my game catches up to whats actually happening and the templar is clearly near us.

    When I asked the person in my group what happened he said that the templar was standing behind me ulting, and he was confused why I didn't do anything to stay alive.

    So you saw the incap, the la, the execution in that video? Cuz I didn't and if he wasn't it would have taken roughly 4 secs to do what he did.

    There is no way a player can deal that kind of damage in that time without ACwith and OP even stated there was no lady on his part.

    There is no way a player can deal that kind of damage in that time with AC and OP even stated there was no lady on his part.

    Did you actually even read what I posted, or watched the video I linked?

    The NB and the OP are seeing two completely different things in their game clients. Look at the death recap in OP's video and you'll see 4 skills and one basic attack.

    OP sees something invisible killing him rather instantly, but the NB sees OP just standing there not really reacting to anything. He gap closes to OP and does his rotation, assuming that OP is either not paying attention or alt tabbed out of the game.

    In the video I posted the same thing happens, I get ulted by an invisible channeled ability and die instantly. For me the templar that killed me was actually just standing behind me ulting what he thought was someone just not paying attention. The person in my group that was standing right next to me turned his camera and saw the templar standing behind me and ulting, both of them saw what I couldn't because my game client was lagging so badly.

    Not exactly what happened in OP, but darn similar

    That looks like a simple health desync caused by bow light attacks, your HP bar showed 22K health before he ambushed and attacked you.

    You likely had a lot less health and you couldn't tell because you were HP desycned. The reason it seems you couldn't react was because you were already dead.

    Your issue is different from the one OP posted or the one I posted, someone linked a video not too long ago showing that bow light attacks caused HP desycns.

    If that's what you're claiming, then that's far worse of a bug then anything about what is being discussed. But, ok, your invisible ult and the 5 different action NB are the same... No matter what OP was dead because he took 5 actions in under 2 secs... Aka animation cancelling. Show me a similar situation where 1v1 dies like that without any AC

    If you pay attention to the floating combat numbers, you will see that the OP gets hit by the first attack (crit rush) at 0:05 and dies at 0:10, so it took the nb 5 seconds to kill him, not 2. The invisible nb was apparently animation cancelling, but that doesn't nullify the global CD, and i doubt it is the reason for the bug.

    I had similar things happen to me a few times, always in combination with crit rush, though usually the attacker becomes visible after a few seconds. It seems like the client is lagging behind and not rendering what is actually happening. And yesterday was actually one of the worst days for me regarding lags and weird bugs and i play in the same campaign as the OP, so yea ... buggy game is buggy.

    Every skill has a cool-down, you cannot do 5 skills in under 2 seconds with animation canceling. Stop trying to blame animation canceling on some *** net code or client lag. My video is the same as OP's video with the exception of mine being a channeled ultimate and OP getting hit by a series skills without a cast time.

    The templar that insta'killed me in my video is someone that I fight on an almost daily basis in IC. He didn't use animation cancel to magically insta'kill me once out of like 50 fights we've had before and after. I explained it to you quite simply already, not going to waste any more time than this doing so.
