ZoS view on class identity?

Has ZoS said anything about the identity of the different mag and stam specs of classes?

For example when I think about a magsorc I think about the ranged mage class, when I think about stamblade I think about the sneaky rogue class, but what about stamsorc or magblade? The same can be said about stamdk which makes me think about a tanky melee warrior and magplar about a cleric healing guy, but what about magdk and stamplar?

What I'm trying to ask is if ZoS has some kind of general idea about the identity of classes but not the class in whole, but the different stam and mag variants. Kinda like when Wrobel said the templar defending his house thingie, was he referring to magplars? or templars in general, has ZoS said stuff like that about the other classes, specifically separating the stam and mag versions?

I think the "traditional" class identity is lost in this game, anytime you have casters in heavy armor wielding 2 handed weapons, the answer is pretty clear.

I think they tend to keep it in mind.

I mean they said on an ESO Live recently they're looking for ways to make Nightblade more sneaky in their PvE rotations (or something to that effect).

Each class and style seems to have a theme behind it, however sometimes as Faylis said the meta asks for thing outside that which seems odd but otherwise the core ideas seem to be there and people play to them.
