Morrowind Main Story Bug?

Forgot the name of the quest itself but when you're suppose to talk to the previous three ghosts of those who tried to become and fulfill the Nerevarine Prophecy, it doesn't count. You still can only speak to the ghosts once each but it doesn't progress or show sign of completion. Can't continue the main story right now.

There is no download. Just a server update this morning. You will have to abandon and re-start a stuck quest though.0 -

Wait. Abandon doesn't permaly kills the quest? I actually didn't knew that. I'm assuming if I wanna restart it, I gotta go back to Ald-Ruhn. Thx for the info.0
