Anyone know why they are doing maintenance again?

    FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.
    FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.
    FYI - It's B2P not F2P. There is a difference.
    FYI - It doesn't take any player skill to mash keys or buttons in this game. The ones that stay alive longer have the better internet connection and speed.
    FYI - The game is not broken, it still works. It just has 'bugs' that need to be fixed.
    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

    Example: There were hundreds of Jedi and only two Sith in Star Wars. The Jedi wanted, "Balance in the Force" and they got it. Now there are only two Jedi and two Sith.

    They stated in the Dev Tracker ...... the Dev tracker is a great resource of information, it would of prevented the need for the start of this thread for no reason .....

    They said some quests are broken and cannot be turned in. The fix is here to solve that.

    The upcoming patch is to patch the last patch that patched the patch preceding the first patch...
    Its kind of like a band aid on the sticky tape covering the duct tape on the hastily glued broken widget.

    Vardenfell main quest line is broken and can´t progress in it. Hopefully, they could fix all the bugged quests.

    It used to be opposite in the beginning.

    I know some people are upset by the times and I know there is 0% chance of the times being designed to be convenient for Australia but here maintenance runs roughly 6PM to midnight destroying two whole days of play for me so it would be good if they could actually get the patch right the first time. Not wanting to be negative about the game, the game is great, but when I can't play between Sunday and Wednesday it isn't great.

    Maintenance is about all platforms. Maybe a critical issue which needs a hotfix.

    They're fixing quests so that all the new players who bought Vvardenfell can actually complete the game, its fair concerning unexpected maintenance.

    If i were running a large company i would also prioritize new possible customers rather than catering for old hooked dogs :>

    Yes its inconvenient and i'd rather be playing in these hours but you kinda have to respect that this is necessary.

    Brand NEW thing is : They moved start of maintenance on EU server from 10am CEST to 12am CEST because they don't care for EU population ,which is rude

    They need to work out what else they could sell to the players. Maybe a fee for being able to play when everybody else goes into maintenance ? They probably all sitting around a table right now brainstorming and offering a special bonus for the one who can come up with the best moneymaker.

    I wonder why it is called "hotfix" because those fixes are usually cold, nothing hot about them. I cannot see any of them getting hot under the collar about something goes wrong, the paying public will play and play, regardless of fees, bugs in the game, mainenances etc.
    I noticed all the ancient old games are all getting re-vamped now and served up again luke warm, just saw GW came back, and Everquest is now how old? like 30 years? or older?
