I want a crown / writ wayshine to put in my house, and before anyone starts talking smak, how would this be any different than teleporting to another char on your friends list / guild. I SEE NO NEGITIVE SIDE-EFFECTS!!

while we're at it, give us a fast travel pad like FO4 too, to set our starting position when we port to our houses.

I know this is a lame work around, but I use the free apartment in AD. It is right near a wayshrine. You have an extra load screen, but it works well.

Lui has a great feature that serves a similar purpose to what youre describing. When you type in '/home' it will port you to your default house. Although i suppose that doesnt help the console gamers out there. Also thats only for getting into your house not really to go some place else.

I've heard they plan to price it at 20k crowns per shrine.

Ok, that probably derailed the thread. I'd settle for not getting the travel debuff when traveling to our home. Doesn't make sense when it happens when traveling from a wayshrine.

I agree. Since we can already port to guildies and friends, not being able to place a port in your home is sort of "What's the point?" to me. If they would give me a portal in my house and let my banker do guild banking I would be a lot happier and spend much less time looking at load screens.

Yup.. me, too. Best apartment (aka) closet of all (location wise).. and very easy to be on my way to where ever I was going.

Closest to a wayshrine is mournoth keep.

You can already port to your house for free, its porting away that costs unless you port to guildee/friend. That being said, I dont see this changing...EVER, since they cant even bother to make delve and dungeon wayshrines and the like fully functional.

I'm in two huge trading guilds so I always have someone to port to. They need to get rid of the cost because there are too many ways to get around paying. Also need crafting writs in houses so they have a real use to make people hush up.
