If they can't fix grouping for BGs, can they at least rebalance proc sets?

Because even if the grouping system works, the proc city that is called Battlegrounds is still broken. If everyone is running the same sets then you know you have a balance problem.

So PvP players want to ruin proc sets for PvE players? Hardly a surprise, it goes like this:
    1. Person A loses to person B
    2. Person A blames proc sets, heavy armor, some OP build, etc etc, anything but their own skill, even though they have access to EXACTLY the same resources as person B
    3. Person A complains to ZoS
    4. ZoS nerfs whatever they are complaining about into the ground
    5. PvE players get screwed yet again by PvP players who just wont put in the time to get better

Could you put it in the form of haiku?

It is true I could use proc sets, but I refuse. It isn't skill to stack up a bunch of free damage to go off at the same time hoping to have the player die before they can react.

Here, to explain it via the mechanics of another game, proc sets are like combo decks in magic the gathering that are meant to just instantly win the second the combo starts. Yes there is skill in putting those combinations together but it is, ultimately, no fun for everyone involved. So yeah it sucks when certain cards get removed because of an exploit unforeseen and yes you could try to fight fire with fire and set up a similar combo deck but what then happens to the actual play? Playing with such combos doesn't take any real skill and it isn't fun for the person it is used against.

A fun game comes with play and counterplay and there is no counter play really for proc sets. A particularly skilled player can overcome this and perform without proc sets as people like myself aspire to do but with proc sets and unfair unbalanced gameplay it ceases to be what for many of us is fun PvP. For me, fun PvP is a test of skill, the ebb and flow of a back and forth fight until one side emerges the victor through superior skill and tactics.

As far as I know, proc sets aren't big in PvE are they? If I am wrong then I'm sorry for spreading misinformation but do understand that you are complaining about your fun being ruined by other people wanting their fun restored or protected. Regardless this game is supposed to be people creating their own builds with varying sets, what's the point in having so many sets if really only one or two are viable? Make it fun, let people have creative builds.

Let them have their EZ mode proc sets, it's what they are there for. To help scrubby people be competitive.
