Skyshard/ Lorebook Poll Time Again !

Okay, I know that this topic has been brought up a few times in one way or another, but....I'm a console pleb and an alt-a-holic so I find it extremely annoying to have to re-discover all the lore-books and to some degree skyshards on my new alts. Yes I know I can print them out and muddle my way thru them but this is quite time consuming and annoying. I'm curious as to what peoples thoughts are on introducing a system that places markers on you map similar to add-on features PC Master race users can get.
Once you discover a book or skyshard it is permanently on your map ( options to toggle for those who prefer) for any future Alts..
Since there would be an option to toggle on and off I am curious as to the reasons it is not a good idea to have this QoL feature.

Agreed, having started on PC I had forgotten how useful buff trackers are and they are definitely a good start but need some improvements for sure.0 -
