How long does it take to get CP 160 after dinging 50 ?

Many of the level 50 weapons/gear in guild stores have this restriction (CP 160).

Just curious ...how long does it take to get CP 160 after dinging level 50

If it is like "ymmv" do tell me how long it took for you to get your first CP 160.

Very quick as you have enlightment everyday for 400 k XP that makes you get xp 4 times quicker

Id say 1 week maybe 2 if slow

You can get to there within a few hours if you grind hard enough. I saw a person reach 600cp as a warden within a few days.

But honestly. just take your time and don't rush it. You'll just skip a bunch of content that you'll end up going back too.

If you are active you can ding it in a good day. A few days at most.

If you are in a guild then round up a dungeon group and do a random normal dungeon, 100k xp for doing a random plus the XP for clearing the dungeon.

I play very slowly and take my time. I never grind. Cp 160 took a few hours (2 or three play sessions). I was leveling through cps faster than I could make armor. Cp 20-150 I barely had time to gather any mats.

Also they keep making the early cps faster with each update.

If I remember corectly original enlightment can take you to CP80 ish, then it is couple of days, took me roughly 1 week if I remember correctly

After it depends on your playtime

reaching CP160 in one day is possible indeed but for people with lot of playing time

There is a misconception in this game that 50 is the max level.

In reality max level is CP 630 but you can continue earning CP well beyond that (into the multiple thousands).

CP 160 is the max gear level and when endgame 'starts'.

You can expect to get to CP 160 in 2-3 days if you grind / play a lot, closer to a week if you don't.

I might be wrong, but I'm guessing it will take 160 cp's.

Grinding to 160 is worth it though, as then you won't have to "awwwww" when finding that cp80 Sharpened Necropotence lightning staff.

Plenty of overland sets sell well, and you can make your healer happy by giving them that one infused SPC chest they've been farming for ages.

no, you saw someone get to level 50 in a few days. your cp is account wide.
if i make a warden and level him to 50 in 5 hrs once he hits 50 he automatically becomes cp 630

Worth noting, CP is account wide. So a CR600 who dinged a Warden to 50 will instantly have a CR600 Warden. I mean, I'll have a CR630 warden the moment she hits 50.

It's YMMV. It took me about 5 minutes. The load screens were horrific back then. Getting a character to V16 though... that took a lot of time. Ugh.

So wait...does lvling 1-50 through questing in the zones take a LOT more time than lvling from lvl 50 to cp160?

Here is the casual player response. I play for about 1-2 hours a day. All I do is the daily dungeon quest and then some other quests. No grinding, no delves that's it.
Just doing that I got to about CP 90 in a couple days with the initial enlightenment bonus. For that particular time I did do lots of questing. I did all the guild and harborage story quests that I had left in a row.
Then once the enlightenment wears off everything slows down dramatically.
It then took me a couple weeks after that to get to CP 160 earning about 1-2 CP points a day on average sometimes 3.

That was back in mid December 2016, now in June, I am at CP 580

    Welcome to the CP grind!

CP is account-wide. Once you hit level 50, you are automatically at your account-wide CP level.

Going from 1-600 takes over a hundred hours with 150% XP pots and an advanced understanding of how to grind in this game. No way a new player can do that in a few days (I don't think anyone can).

Impossible even if you ran sky reach all day with xp scrolls.

...depends on how much you play... :p;)

But these days, with catchup mechanic and enlightment, its WAY faster then it used to be. Super faster. You'll each 160 and the good gear in a flash I am sure... just wander through cadwells, get those skill points and mages guild books and so on, the CP will tumble in en passant...

:frowning::grimace: you young whippersnappers have no idea how good you have it these days, getting to endgame gear this quick why, back in my day we had to quest day and night, uphill both ways, in the freezing snow of eastmarch and the burning heat of the alik'r to gain our veteran ranks, with even doing everything in one of cadwells regions wasn't nearly enough to grab one and we had to do extra dailies in cyrodil just to be able to use the next regions gear drops, and when we finally made the last one... they added two so we would have to go at it again... now gerroff mah lawn! :p;):sunglasses:

If, on one day, you play from 9am to midnight, which is say 12 hours subtracting time for food and toilet, etc.. and using XP scrolls, Psijic Ambrosia, Ring of Mara, ESO+, Training traited gear and grouped with Marriage partner, you will go way past CP160, no problem. I know cuz I've done exactly that.

2-3 days. Especially if you have 50% xp scrolls, or even 100% or 150%. CP points are easy to level and not like 1-50.
You can do daily dungeon and also farm Skyreach Catacombs (though skyreach catacombs becomes a boring grind fast).

3 weeks. Casual solo questing. No intentional grinding. Days skipped in there to. While working 60 plus hours a week.

So I think is your worse case.

Very Quickly. And with Each CP limit increase it gets even easier since they reduce the exp requirement at lower levels.
