I left, briefly, in that first week of release once I saw what 'endgame' was, beat Molag Bal in his original difficulty on my original account, which is why I laugh at every accusation of 'casuality', and came back during the Tamriel Unlimited update. Since then, it's taken Morrowind to make me leave.1 -

First break was after one week of playing. The game was boring and I grew tired of getting utterly destroyed by mudcrabs... There is a lot to complain about the current game but it has so much improved since then.PC EU1 -

✭✭✭✭✭I started playing during the server stress test beta hence the "ub17_ESO" affix to my user name, that's how you tell what Beta wave phase someone got invited to the game. However I have not played all the way, I quit about 4 months into my 6 month subscription then came back when the game went free to play. I play for about 3 months at a time and take long breaks in between. It depends if I get bored of WoW's content, Mists of Pandaria was a real bore so I played more during that time. Mid parts of WoD and right now alternating between Legion, at least until the new raid comes out next week.1 -

✭✭2-3 yearsStarted eso when I saw my city full of adds for the eso console launch june 2015.
It looked cool. First tes game. As soon as I finished the content I felt like leaving because PvP is not about skill in combat but number crunching and min/maxing.
Resource management and AC is not smooth fluid combat. It's just riding the metas.
Then IC came out and it was fun for couple of weeks. Real fun.
I stayed until DB came out. Doing Trials to kill time or joining a TS zerg during peak hour in Cyro.
10 minutes spamming Steelnados and CC and 15 at loading screens and riding around the 6 keeps.
Was w8ing for a new mmorpg.
Came back last month because some friends wanted to try ESO, just to see that the only reason to go to Cyro is to farm with your toon on the winning side of the campaign, and that zos keeps selling Lore and instanced PvE (good actors and music, must say that)
Procs need to go.

Looking at the stats, only 1 person so far has said they are 0 to 3 months, and even only 9 in the 1 to 2 year bracket, by far the most is in above 3 years. I understand the people who have been here for 3 years are proud of that, but for the people who are newer players, don't be afraid to vote! I feel that people are worried they might get talked down to or not taken seriously just because they haven't been here that long. - Animation canceR - is true PvP cancer! When you can't see which actions your opponent do - you can't react properly on them!

Beta player here. I feel you dude. Soon after I hit cadwell silver, they nerfed pve difficulty into the ground. That was a sad day. It was the only real challenge outside of dungeons and pvp that taught players how to approach groups of difficult mobs. Today it is just spamming 1 ability and win.Newcomers wont know the pain of those "veteran" areas during the first few months of the game lol
