Everyone who votes 'No' just want a quick fix. They scared because they wont have the best gear anymore.

Well time to face the music because its time. Time for insanity.

Nah I voted no because look at the jump in cost to make 160 gear compared to 150. Now imagine what you might need to make 180 gear.

Could be that people who are voting yes do so because they are unable to compete with same level gear and are somehow under the impression that raising the level will give them an advantage. This makes as much sense as the your broad brush "scared" statement.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

Not really but thanks for the info.

I'm fed up with finding the same old 160 gear. Its boring, I ain't after any advantage? I want to progress like level 1 to 50 was.

    Finding new hench gear.

    Now its mundane.

I want to find much higher level than 180, We need the insanity level system.

Notice all the big boys here straight up downvoting.

As I say no doubt they don't want to get new gear. That's BS.

I'll install the game again when ZM raises the gear level to 600+.

Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the exact... same *** thing... over and over again expecting... *** to change... That. Is. Crazy.

This game right now will drive you insane. I ain't doing the same F$%&ing thing over and over expect *** to change.

That's exactly what grinding is: doing the same thing over and over again.

then why the hell is gear level a thing.

It's a vestige from before One Tamriel.

It could also be seen as easing new players into the game by forcing them to pay attention to their gear.

I don't personally think there needs to be a gear level cap at all, but the one we have isn't a big deal (getting to level 50 on a new character is quick work).

You want an increase to the gear cap so that other player's enjoyment of the game is ruined? That's petty.

    Sigh.

Too much stupid in one thread for me. You's aren't even listening anymore. Think im out of this thread.

@RIGHTEOUS_REPORT Can you please go and read what you said. Like you literally say grinding is bad etc... then said you want higher gear so you can re grind your current gear? Like what?

It isn't doing the same thing if your getting higher gear progressively through quests. Hitting you with that ZM feeling, which has now gone.

There is no such thing as higher level gear due to scaling. Getting to the higher level means your stats haven't changed from the previous level.

    What would be the point?

Scaling would ensure that your stats are 100% unchanged from the previous level.

Exactly, they need to work on their horizontal progression within the game. Add in new weapons, sets, etc. Though that is another topic.

Gear sets can give buffs to your stats. Your base non-set, no passives stats will be the same but higher level gear provides bonus to stats.

Indeed the scaling parameters would have to go, the insanity plan is to have mobs up to Champion 900+ on Cadwells Gold if you make it that far mortals.

Cadwells gold is different for everyone, with one tamriel every is scaled?

So you'd run to someone on Ep whose on there first main quest while your on cadwells gold? What would happen there?

And higher level gear does nothing to change that. The fights are not going to get harder because another level of gear is introduced. The reward of finding higher level gear will last maybe two or three days most for all but a very small portion of game content. The only thing that would change is 160 would be 170, 180 or ???. Once you get your 180 gear and that would happen fast you are right back to where we are now. Only a number changed. Fights are no easier nor are they any harder. Maybe you get two to three weeks of PvP with no higher level sharpened Maelstrom weapons. Maybe.

You wanna be challenged strip down naked and solo a pledge.

Good point, let me explain. You would both do the famous ZM act of vanishing in the quest area one player is questing level 1 and the other player ( Cads Gold) would be on the insanity plan of up to 900+ mobs

Kind of the same now if a 600 elite runs to a level 1 player on quests.

Cadwells gold with the insanity plan would have its sectors away from noobs. You would only see the elites there because lets face it, the mobs are 900+ you need elites only, if you make it that far mortal.

You can enter and exit out of Cadwells Gold Insanity Plan any time and join the noobs. But you can only complete quests inside Cads Gold campaign.

    Its genius.

OP is asking two different questions in the same poll and already had a poll on one of the questions created this morning before this one.

Granted, the forum polls are merely entertainment value and offer devs no real information, but creating a decent poll offers better entertainment.

Maybe he thought tying the two questions together would get a different result than the other one saying leave things as they are.

While this is indeed two questions in one poll, the previous poll was asking about character levels specifically. This one pertains to gear levels in particular. I just refined my question onto a slightly different topic, while asking another.
