Why aren't there any dark anchors in Vvardenfell?

I understand that it has just been added but Vvardenfell was still around during Molag Bal'a scheme, albeit inaccessible to the player, so why are there no dark anchors on Vvardenfell? Would be nice to get War Maiden jewelry

All additional zones since release take place after the planemeld chronologically. That's why there isn't any in the gold coast, hews bane, wrothgar, etc. either.

Although Vvardenfell was made to make sense to take place before the planemeld too, so you could see it that way instead. They just haven't appeared yet.

Other than that you could just imagine that Vivec is protecting Vvardenfell from the anchors too maybe.

It's canon that Vvardenfell wasn't affected with dark anchors. The tribunal (Vivec Specifically) were powerful enough to stop them
    happening in Vvardenfell.

Also side note, the Tribunal actually battled Mehrunes Dagon. And won

Why would you need Molag Bal there to mess it to when you have Vivic?

...well... actually... there is -one- in wrothgar. But that is a special case.

Yeah, all the other regions happen chronologically after you beat Molag Bal. Thus there are a few broken anchors in craglorn... even though you can still have fun at anchors in the other regions after the mainstory is completed for some reason... ;) Guess it takes a while gor the invasion anchors to get the memo that the great shackle is broken, huh?

And the fact that Vivec is usually capable enough to protect Vvardenfell is worth mentioning. Makes sense that Molag Bal may have thought this place to be best left for later when he already had a firm clawhold on the rest of tamriel... (note - there are no anchors on any of the starting isles as well, just sayin...)

There is the Unfinished Dolmen in western Wrothgar, though perhaps it's never completed because we've defeated Molag Bal before the worm cult can spread throughout the province?

Didn't Vivec and Molag Bal have some intimate time together so naturally Vvardenfell was spared from the dark anchors. ;)

    Vivec stopped Anchors from appearing

The mages in Craglorn summoned an army of atronachs to stop the dark anchors

There is an unfinished dolmen in Wrothgar where the Worm Cult didn't quite manage to finish it

Hew's Bane and Gold Coast are quite small zones with Dolmens just outside their areas (eg rest of Hammerfell and Cyrodiil) so dark anchors just didn't happen to fall in those particular areas.

Doesnt the lore state how Vivec, being a befouled mer, has something kinky going with Molag Bal? Im inclined to ascribe it to this little detail more than to any presumed divine power of Vivec.

    1. Morrowind is protected by the Tribunal, who are gods themselves and can keep the anchors at bay (there is a quest in Grahtwood where you help an ordinator destroy a dolmen using a teardrop from Almelexia). Why Almalexia didn't destroy the dolmens in Deshaan and Stonefalls using this method (but instead decided to help the enemy) is beyond me.
    2. Vivec is Molag Bal's former lover, which might explain why his domain was spared.
    3. The story in Morrowind actually takes place after the events of the planemeld (this is debatable, but there is something in the game that very clearly says this might be the case, see spoiler below). This would leave time for the dolmens to be dismantled.
When you complete the main story quest in Orsinium, the Prophet's ghost pays you a visit and tells you that even though Molag Bal has been defeated, your adventure isn't over. He says you'll be going to Clockwork City/Morrowind next to help stop a war between the Daedra.
