So i rolled a warden argonian just now after buying morrowind and am not sure what to put my attribute points into. So far i just have 3 class skill lines and all of those use magic it looks like. So should i stack magicka or hp? Im also looking for a good build guide on what skills i need to aim for. Thanks for any help!

    I highly recommend running Imperial . When you get comfortable with fights , you will not care about your sustain because it will be too easy . Argonian is more of a beginner friendly race . Imperial will give you more overall stats . More stats means better tanking . But in the end , it doesn't matter much . I am running a Dark Elf tank which has almost no bonuses to tanking and tanked everything in this game . It really doesn't matter . But if you want to min/max and don't care about RP or visuals , go Imperial while it is still early .

    This build I linked is focused on keeping the Major Slayer on allies as much as possible . Tell your DDs to stay close to you and they will be doing lots of damage as you spam Enchanted Forest . This is for dungeons only . In trials , you want to run Warhorn which is much more powerful because it affects everyone and doesn't depend on positioning of your DDs , which isn't the case for Major Slayer . Drop War Machine in trials for Ebon or another useful set like Dragon , Alkosh , Torug's Pact and such sets .

    You get the ultigen from Heroic Slash , Bull Netch (Savage Beast passive) , Tava's Favor , Blood Spawn , Enchanted Forest , Invigorating Drain and Shimmering Shield . That is a lot of ultimate regeneration . And you get your sustain from the Leeching Vines and Enchanted Growth . You want to have as much Magicka Recovery as possible because the Green Balance passive , Nature's Gift , restores your lowest amount of resource you have . More Magicka Recovery means faster regaining of Magicka so you can get Stamina from the passive more reliably .

    As a Warden , you should be stacking some Max Stats as well , opposed to Dragonknight , your Ultimate actually heals very nicely and it will scale with your highest stat , Stamina in this case . So , having high Max Stamina will benefit you . War Machine gives both bonuses which makes it a nice set for the healing Ultimate . That is also the reason why we are running tri-stat enchants on armor . Not only our Ultimate , but also the Leeching Vines and Enchanted Growth does healing and they scale with Max Magicka .

    As I said , all things I said is for 4-man content . Using Warhorn with an another set other than War Machine will give your group better results in 12-man content .

    And btw , switch it up a bit . Try different skills and maybe a different monster set . Make sure to apply your own thoughts to this . Everyone has a different playstyle and you should switch it up for your own . Only then you can achieve good things with your character . Hope this helps , cheers .

    I run a warden tank with 5 piece green pact, 5 piece plague doctor, and 2 random monster pieces. My stats when food buffed are 48k health, 21k stam, and 19k mag.
    For my main bar I use inner fire, polar wind, ice fortress, bull netch, gripping shards, and northern storm.
    For my back bar I use leeching vines, spiked none shield, absorb magic, pierce armor, heroic slash, and healing thicket.
    With this set up I have no problems tanking normal or vet dungeons.

    Hmmmm.. to level just rock whatever is fun for you man. For tanking just do the obvious and level 1h and shield, and heavy armor traits. Lots of builds out that you can get a good idea from. Like I posted on a another post, do not follow a build 100%. Read through different ones until you get a general idea on why they are running the things they are then split off and make your own tweaks to your play style.

    Thanks guys! Yea didnt think about stamina ill put most points in that and use your tips as well :). I actually cannot use imperial for some reason. It says i dont own it even though i made an imperial close to launch i think i got that race with the collectors edition when i preordered but whatever. So i went argonian. I dont care to much about min maxing anyways i just want to do well in dungeons.

    I forgot to mention, sometimes I will swap leeching vines for green lotus. Leeching vines is good when you are being attacked by mobs because it applied lifesteal to attackers. Green lotus lasts longer and your light and heavy attacks will heal you or a low health ally. I usually apply bone shield and start using light attacks to refill my health then all the extra healing goes to an ally. Green lotus also improves weapon crit chance, so while attacking there is a chance to crit heal as well.

    @Liofa ,

    do you think that Warden is good enough to surmount DK in trials?

    @Liofa ,

    do you think that Warden is good enough to surmount DK in trials?

    They are at least as good as DK in terms of sustain (netch and nature's gift) and ultigen(savage beast and shimmering shield) but Tankiness and utility , not so much .

    Netch is really , really strong . You can cast is every 8 seconds for free and get 4 Ultimate . You have to cast a 3k Magicka skill every 6 seconds for 3 Ultimate on a DK .

    Shimmering Shield is the only reliable source of Major Heroism in the game .

    Leeching Vines and Lotus Flower is insane for sustain . Both Magicka and Stamina . Nature's Gift doesn't have a cooldown so keeping both of them up will be crazy .

    They are pretty good overall but I rather stick with my DK :)
