Homestead Service

Owning house in ESO is a great thing, but there is one feature from Hearthfire that is missing in ESO, homestead services. In Skyrim we had cooks, bards and others, so our mansion didn't look empty, but what we get in ESO? Almost nothing... there are there assistants, but two of them are obtainable only in Crown Store and for Pirharri you must finnish Thieves Guild DLC. Besides them, our place is almost empty. Of course, we can populate it with pets, but animals don't replace people. What you think about this?

Oehh the good old times in Skyrim... A Bard that you could hire sounds good, cooks too, stable master... and give them the possibility to wander around the place! so it feels a little more 'alive'.
Also, another idea that i readed somewhere and was awesome... with those big gardens, why not being able to grow your own resources? such as herbs for chemistry on small crops that you can gather every 2 or 3 days? And also hire a gardener!

I would love to have a Bard in my home.

Though, I think the point of an MMO is to populate your home with real people?

Hmm what about selling bards as eso plus awards and give alternative version in crown store.

@ZOS_GinaBruno profit to be made along with loyalty.

    Would be great!
Another idea is to have your chars in your home. If you log out while sitting/sleeping etc in your home with one char, all other chars will see him in that position as an NPC (no interaction).

yes, NPCs would be nice. And if the bard would be even "programable", that you could tell him what to play, that would be great :). My favourite bard song from ESO is Red Diamond :).

Of course, nice option, but I believe NPC as quest rewards would be great also ;)

My home is a little one-room hut. Even with the banker/merchant/fence and a cat or two, it's way too quiet. Some NPCs moving around would be awesome - especially if they were copies of my alts.

    "Red diamond red diamond...." NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

If you could configure the bard to point to a directory on your computer or a service like pandora to play music then I'd be up for that.

    :D

It would be pretty funny to have the bard play music from our world. Imagining a little innocent bard with a lute screaming "LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOOOOOR" tickles me.

Yes, even if they did nothing but look good. I need slaves... I mean servants.

YES PLEASE. Bards to change home background music, private stablemasters to train all your character horses from the same logged in character (maybe even pre-purchase for 7 day trainings). Furthermore, I would like guild representatives handing out undaunted, mages and fighter guild quests, a cart and task board for crafting dailies and maybe even region/faction representatives for world daily quests.

Of course, to prevent inn to become a one stop quest hub, limit the amount of functioning npc/task boards as currently is, to prevent you from picking up everything you need from the cheapest house (and for zos interesting: force people to buy larger houses with crowns).

Everybody are talking about bards, but I believe choice of entertainers is much, much bigger. i don't know... jesters, dancers or maybe fire swallorers? You can meet all of them on the map, so why not in your place?

I think people mostly mention bards because they produce music and thus are the most prominently there and adding life. Howver, I completely agree that it would be nice to have a selection of available entertainers. Maybe even a generic entertainment dummy which becomes a random entertainer when you enter, thus having one npc that adds a sense of people visiting and leaving.

Of course, we can get it this way, but you don't think that more individual concept would be better? For example took bards. They can come from different regions so they know different song (that's quite normal that Redguard won't sing about Ragnar the Red). Also they can have bigger or lesser expierience, hence their playlists can be longer or shorter. Possesing different experience is quite obvious as I believe. Of course, if you are rich, you can hire whole band for your mansion

It would be great to see household staff in homes. All the assets are already in game too, so half the works been done.

I've created a list of homestead service I would really want to see:

    1) Bards: Obvious one, possibility of changing musical background of your house would be really a great assets.
    2) Bands: Developed wersion of previous one, because there is only one thing better than bard, a whole bunch of them ;)
    3) Chef: We have personal bankers and merchants, so why not chefs?
    4) Entertainers: For example jesters, dancers and maybe fire swallowers.
    5) Bodyguards: As you cannot be attacked in your own place they would be just a decoration, but a nice one ;)
    6) Lusty Argonian Maid: Well...

And of course it would be really nice to have your own family like in Hearthfire :)
