i play an MMO for the social aspect, the trading, the PvP and the group PvE. Delves are not suited for a zerg of farmers killing boses 24/7.

Then maybe they need to "adjust" the boss difficulty based on the number of players in the area like they do domen...The way it is currently, I'm lucky to get more than 4 hits in before the boss drops.

that won't solve anything, it will just make life harder for new/solo players. The should be an option to go in a separte instance, or join "public instances" something like that.

how would scaling the boss hurt solo players? If you're the ONLY one there, the boss will be super easy. If there's 14 players there with you, the boss won't die in 5 seconds.

being able to play it, is that too much to ask? also, in PC has been available for weeks. Just make delves and public dungeons instance based and problem solved

I didn't even think of this but that also seems like a good idea. The only concern is every other player in the instance could be doing something different and you would end up with a boss that had 14x hit points and forced to solo it or *gasp* talk to people you may not know and do the public content together...
was in the hall of the dead in windhelm last night around 6 or 7pm p.s.t....there wasn't any other players in the whole dungeon - it was kind of weird cuz I remember reading this thread shortly before I went in...
some dungeons just seem to be more popular than others...
