A different way to use learned motifs
I was wondering if there could be a change to the way we can apply motifs that we have learned to weapons and armor like we used to be able to with the Imperial upgrade. It would make learning the motifs much more enjoyable if we could apply the style we like, especially on looted items that force you to stick with the style given.

✭✭✭✭✭They would need to expand the system so that it actually works with set items to do this (something everyone would love).

Exactly. Just change it so we can use the style of motif we like and not be forced into a using style we don't like but have to use if we want to use a certain set.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭The imperial transform has the interesting restrictions that it can not convert dropped sets.
It can only convert non set gear who nobody uses as they will lose out the set bonuses and crafted gear who could just be crafted in imperial style anyway.

As of right now, most of the really good dropped sets look like junk, and don't mess well with my own crafted gear. So I either have to wear a costume over everything, or look like a goof ball. This would be a marked improvement I believe...0 -

✭✭✭What they should do is make it so you can just craft a runebox for each set by making a full set of 160 14/14 gear of the same style and has to be crafted by you since you have to know all the motifs and to make them sellable on the market as BoE runeboxes to give crafters a thing to actually make gold off of as well.0
