Warden Healer?

I started leveling my mag warden, I'm looking to build him as a healer. I just reached level 10, but was wondering if anyone has had any success with a warden healer.

I just ran ICP in a group with a warden healer. He did fine. I was DPS, just gotta remember to stay near the mushrooms, trees and flowers. It was pretty fun actually. I like all the cool warden animations.

Huge success. But he's a PvP healer primarily. I haven't had any issues in PvE content however.

I keep a few healing skills on both bars for my warden, and honestly healing players during WB fights, or boss fights in public dgns is interesting, fun, and challenging

If you don't have a mag Templar I'm the group using dark flare corrupting pollen is bis for that major defile.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I love healing dungeons and wb's, I actually heal on my mdk more often than my Templar. But I'm happy to hear you guys are enjoying it. PvP healer sounds fun, have never given that a try really.

I've made one recently and its pretty good. :) If you played templar healer before, you'll need to adapt to warden animations (not a fan of them, they seem too long, clunky, and the visuals are waaay over the top).
The buffs it provides are really nice and its not difficult to play (I personally dont find it more difficult than my templar).

P.S. The only issue I encountered was grinding to undaunted rank 5 to get bubbles, so I can restore group resources... But it was done quickly so it wasnt a big deal.

Currently I run both a Templar and warden healer for trials. Both work just fine. Like Ladynalcrya said it takes time to get use to the different animations. Had to grind out undaunted 5 for mystic orbs and assault 4 for war horn in order to be trails ready.

It's really rewarding actually. I run a guild, so I am always doing group play, and the Warden is a great support-tank/healer. I built a tad tanky, so I can wade in with the other guys and use PBAOE helas and buffs to godd effect. I rock a back-bar resto for more traditional "ranged heals from behind" situations, using a mix of resto and warden "aimed" heals. The magic morph of shrooms returns resources, Ice fortress mitigates damage, and the AOE defile is a huge plus when used tactically. Surprisingly, a skill I initially thought very gimmicky but which I now LOVE on my close-in bar is the healing gap-closer. You gotta explore that, its amazeballs.

Love my warden healer. Heal vet dungeons and trials without issue. The best part is most of the warden buffs run 20 seconds, so its not a mad scramble to re-apply them every few seconds. Pop a quick buff rotation and youre set to focus simply on healing for a nice little while.

And PvP.. Ooh man is warden fun to roll as a healer in PvP. The vine heal alone is fantastic for mobility when supporting players near fortifications, and I have never had as much fun as I have with the frost portals.

Dropping invisible ones to snare players trying to kite around rocks/trees, or (The best part for me) - when teammates/friendly players can use it as a quick escape. I've thrown that down a few times and had almost as many nice saves of teammates as I have had nice snares of enemy players.

I'm enjoying my warden healer a lot more than I thought I would. Takes some getting used to but I'd say warden is arguably the best healing class for small groups and vet dungeons. I've even found the Green Balance ultimate, Healing Thicket, to be extremely useful. It's almost immediately available (75 ultimate) and you can drop it and go full dps while not even thinking about healing for 10 seconds as long as your group is somewhat aware of their surroundings.

Overall it's been a great surprise and proven to be an amazingly effective healing class.

Stamina healer is even more rewarding than Magicka. But that's just my opinion.

Just an update. Got my warden to level 14. Ran some pugs, and beat fungal grotto 2 healing without a resto staff and still did decent dps. I have to say, I'm impressed with what I can do on the warden
