Back from 2 years DK DPS build weak?

OK, so after taking a 2 year sabbatical I'm back with my Imperial DK DPS. I came across this build- https://alcasthq.com/eso-stamina-dragonknight-build-pve/

And it seems to be the most current DPS Stam build I could find. Now I am still working on mechanics of the game but it seems that I suck- LOL. My gear is old, mainly twice born gear from 2 years ago. I suppose if I can follow along with the gear on that site I'll be better, but any advice going forward would be appreciate

For pvp or pve?

If it's from 2 years ago, I assume it's < CP160 gear? That is a large part of it, right there, as your gear and enchants are not as high as they could be.

TBS is still solid as a leveling substitute, but Hundings + NMG (as listed on his site) would probably net you higher #'s.

A lot has changed in two years, several times over, in fact. So, don't expect to jump back in and be at top tier.

You'll get there. (As I understand it, Stam DK is probably one of the hardest Stam DPS classes to master, but that may have changed, as well.)
