From a Business Perspective They just re-released Skyrim for higher End Consoles including the Nintendo Switch.
ESO: Morrowind is a slight re-boot bringing life and revenue back to the game.
The Devs clearly have a Big story arc in mind for ESO.
To announce ES6 would rob them of sales for both games, which they put a large investment into.
From a creative Perspective they want to be able to explore other story genres besides Fantasy and Sci-Fi/Apocalypse.
There are clear indicators that they are announcing a game involving space. The project that went by the code word: "StarField".
They also have another new IP they are working on.
Last year Bethesda was asked of they are working on ES6 and they said they have some ideas but development has not actually started.

Conflicting reports. Well, whatever the news is it should be interesting.
TES6 has been in development since Fallout 4 went gold.
They are working on a new engine for TES6. You also have Project Starfield which will probably be announced this year(tonight hopefully it will be TES in space open world sandbox kinda game)
Project Greenheart(which is probably TES6 will be out by 2019, if they wait any longer then that they will lose their single player modding community and thus their sales...Bethesda knows exactly what they are doing.
The goal is to have:
TES
Starfield
Fallout
New unnamed IP
They should have a solid line up moving forward
I don't know man. I find it curious that Bethesda is making an announcement just as the Xbox One X is being announced. Maybe that was the new "tech" they were waiting on for ES6. Again, I'm just being hopeful. In any case, yes it's definitely a good line up.
Theres nothing special about the OneX and the PS4Pro to hold back Bethesda from making a new ES solo game.0 -

So, I think they'll be giving away some eso items too during that twitch stream. But I'm just guessing here. Still worth linking your accounts though, never know

Horns of the Reach is the next DLC (2 dungeons). Clockwork City will probably be a small explorable zone DLC (like Hew's Bane/Gold Coast). These were datamined ages ago, they just confirmed them officially.Edited by MLGProPlayer on June 12, 2017 4:15AM0 -

Only for a short while. Single players games end eventually. Skyrim was only 50-100 hours long. Sure a small minority would keep playing it over and over again as well as play through modded content, but that's insignificant.
Modded or not, ES single player games never end.
If they do, you're playing them wrong
I didn't even touch the main story or complete till 2 years after buying. Over 100,000 save files and only 2 main story line completions. It truly never ends, when you're modding especially.

New DLC will be good, but it was blink & miss it.

I think Microsoft is doing it right. Make a console as powerful as possible for the right price point, make it an easy platform for developers to work with, and you most likely will have a winning formula overall.

you are right and i wasn't expecting tes vi i was expecting some of the "biggest projects we have ever done" and "something we have never done before but similar to our other games" - so i was expecting an open world rpg in a new universe or something...
besides, do you think one they present tes vi they will announce it before? I doubt it, the whole surprise would be ruined...0
