Magicka Warden PVP - monster helm

Can anyone recommend me a good monster helm for Magicka Warden for PvP? I thought about Valkyn Scroia but currently it is bugged and it doesn proc on swarm skills.

I can use bloodspawn, but it will fit better for my group play build. I need something for Solo DPS.

I enjoy iceheart on my warden, gives spell crit which we need and a decent shield with some ice damage boosted by our passives

Offensively:

Skoria: it does depend on your layout. Personally that Artic Blast, destructive reach/clench and Winter's Revenge (+the odd entropy) should be enough alone to proc any DoT type Proc sets I think

Grothdar: for up close melee type builds (not necessarily my choice unless you're goin for some bsw thing)

Slimecraw: yay DMG

Ult Gen and defense:

Bloodspawn: classic

Pirate Skele: Can stack both major and minor protection easily

For Fun:

Shadowrend: Cuz it's a pet that has major up time and why not lmao

For pvp:

Pirate, bloodspawn, skoria (but since swarm dont proc it, u have to slot crappy skills), grothdarr

If u go the max magicka necro route I can really recommend infernal Guardian , nice pressure and very offen 1 shot Hits cuz of deep fissure, which adds at least 3k to your burst.

I can't believe it slipped my mind, but Warden Passives have beautiful synergy with troll king for a defensive set.

Still trying to think of what set would be best for offense. If the Warden Passives did work with Shadowrend he could be cool for like 1v1 duels, but I don't think they do lol.

I think slimecraw maybe the most consistent offensive set, but maybe just raw stats maybe "best" for a warden offensively.

You can get slimecraw bonus from Bird of Prey as a warden...

For Solo offensive set Skoria should be the best if ZoS fix it and it works with swarm. In group play you can use Grothdarr.

2 Kena. Since you have a lot of delayed burst you can avoid paying the extra cost for part of your burst and still get the insane damage. Run lich back bar with Snb and inferno vma front bar with resource poisons and a 5pc of your choice on body. I'd probably run necro/trans in light and seducer in heavy.

Actually, @akinos is the one that suggested using Kena to me. He runs it on magplar, but I like the idea of proc'ing it on warden, especially since you're applying a resource poison while activating Kena, basically giving you and the target the same sustain penalty while you also get ~700 spell damage.

For small scale I decide to wear troll king. It does a good job. It helps the whole group. I really hope that ZoS will fix swarm soon and I can give a try to Scoria for solo.
