Does anyone know which boss a sharpened sword of war maiden would drop?
I have been killling bosses in both public dungeons and in and a delve and haven't seen a single set sword drop.

✭From UESP- Delve bosses will now drop a waist or feet set piece from the zone they are located in
- Overland group bosses drop head, chest, legs, or weapon set piece from the zone they are located in.
- Public dungeon bosses drop a shoulder, hand, or weapon set piece from the zone they are located in.
- Treasure Chests gained from defeating a Dark Anchor have a 100% chance to drop a ring or amulet set piece from the zone they are located in.
- Treasure chests found in the world have a chance to grant any set piece that can drop in that zone.
When the snows fall and the white winds blow,
the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

No. It's completely random.
The new public dungeons are a bit too big to farm efficiently (there aren't any bosses that are close together). You might have more luck farming treasure chests with the treasure hunter passive. However, I would just suggest farming mats for a few hours and buying the swords from guild traders.Edited by MLGProPlayer on June 10, 2017 10:04PM6

I know this, I have been doing it. Is there a certain boss that drops them or do they all? Like does the sword only drop at one boss in one dungeon?0

All of this has a chance (not 100%!) to drop a weapon (any kind) or jewelry, or armor with some trait (any) from the sets of relevant zone (there is always 2 or 3 in the any zone)- PC EU. Ebonheart Pact. CP 1k+
