So being the filthy casual at heart that I am, I decide to run a frost staff on my warden. The next thing I know, I'm tanking, healing, and doing top dps at level 11 with random gear in dungeons with all CP (granted my CP is higher than all of theirs). I thought my tank was just incompetent, but I noticed he was applying aggro however I had priority with froststaff. So I end up aggroing everything. The healer was going to let people die, so I threw some extra heals. The DPS was struggling in mobs so I threw AOE. Thanks to the frost staff I don't have to worry about stam drain on block, I can free of cost apply aggro WHILE regaining resources!
Heavy attack aggro, kite spam, keep buffs up, and heal when needed. Best tank ever? Infinite aggro and infinite resources.
Frost Staff is finally viable outside of PVP! The worst and arguably most irrelevant weapon in game since launch is finally worth using.

It'd depend on the build. I'd imagine froststaffs will be used in both stam and magicka builds.Master Debater0 -

✭Okay dude. Literally any class can tank the content you're playing. For veteran hardmode Trials (especially vMOL+vHOF) you need a properly built and skilled DK tank. This is where Ice-staff Warden [snip] science-fiction oniric imaginery ends. Period.
