Here's your daily reminder that Battlegrounds are broken

I did 12 battlegrounds this morning, in only 3 of them were there even numbered teams and in none of them were there full 4v4v4 teams. I want to do battlegrounds because I want to be a part of drop in pvp that can somewhat be expected to be at least on paper balanced as opposed to the zergfest that Cyrodiil but it's hard to keep trying battlegrounds out when they're so horribly broken. When I win it's because my team has more people, when I lose it's because their team has more people or they're a premade group using all proc sets (which balance is another issue I won't even talk about that). I just wish it would work. It's rarely fun in the present broken form.

ZirconJunkie✭✭✭✭Well that's a bummer. During ESO Live on May 26, they acknowledged the bugged queue and said it would be fixed with the next patch. That patch came and went, and queues seem to have gotten worse.
During ESO Live on June 9, the bugged queues were again acknowledged and they said a number of fixes would be going in on Monday (patch 3.0.8).
Dungeon Finder queues have been broken for countless months. They seem to either be unable or unwilling to fix them, so it remains to be seen if anything will improve with the battleground queues with their second try.Edited by ZirconJunkie on June 10, 2017 6:40PM0 -
Drelkag✭✭✭Love the game but I've given up on them ever sorting out Dungeon Finder queues. Not sure if it's something wrong with the foundation itself or what but they should really take the time and rebuild it. ✭✭✭✭✭I havent bothered trying battlegrounds because all of my friends ingame are giving bad feedback on it, I just cant be arsed with that. Hope they fix it asap so its worth a shot.

Smmokkee✭✭✭✭✭Resource cost poisons and proc sets are out of control.. until this is fixed it doesnt really matter if you fix the queue because the gameplay is terrible because of the above reasons.
Fix the queue and watch all these threads about people not being able to play change to how disappointed they are with the proc/poison meta. Newsflash zos no real pvper enjoys these additions. PLEASE something has to be done.

✭I am really getting tired of uneven matches. This was a problem on pts and was reported to zos by numerous people.
Continually being thrown in uneven matches is getting to be to much, about ready to set the game down. Wish I would of never tried battlegrounds because they are tons of fun on the rare occasion you get a fair match.

I'm aware that you can queue at off-peak times or spam it for like 3 hours to get in but me and my partner aren't able to do either of those.0 -

✭✭Here's my experience today so far - myself with less than 4 people usually one or two people with me against a premade group of four and another not full group as well. Or maybe two premade groups if I'm unlucky. I don't want to reach out and form a group, I want to be able to just drop in and play like it was advertised. But no, I get groups where it's just me and some level 20 something, just me and somebody else who's decent but against full groups.
It's so horribly broken, you run into the same people over and over again because everybody else is quitting because we all can see IT ISN'T WORKING. I haven't seen a system so broken and it'll get worse every day until they actually FIX IT because more people will just quit doing battlegrounds.
Looks like Cyrodiil is the only place where you can get pvp worth doing.
Edit: Like I was excited to play when I woke up this morning, there was a build I wanted to try out that I knew was fun to play but I am legit depressed after banging my head against a wall for hours. I don't mind losing, I just wanted something that Cyrodiil cannot promise - the chance of a fair fight. Cyrodiil is fun when you want battles, but sometimes you want a structured game where you can test your mettle against others. I had been asking for battlegrounds for years though and this is the broken mess I get? It's heartbreakingly disappointing.
