Can we get a 'Guild Residence' option?

I am probably beating a dead horse here (hold the gifs please!), but do you think we should/could get a "Visit Guild Residence" option? Just like the "Visit Primary Residence" option. I am no programmer, but it seems like a simple and harmless (with regard to game mechanics) thing to do, and would only drive up demand for more player houses per character.

Any thoughts on this? Did I miss any press releases regarding a feature like this?

Thanks!

I was thinking the same thing. They really missed the boat there. As it stands, most have to buy the largest homes/areas and use those, but they are not actual guilds. Would be nice. People could linger and meet up.

    Yes, please.

All I see is hate and rage from people who don't understand how to.....

No because that would give housing a point beyond getting people to buy things in the crown store. Not allowed in ESO.

Seems logical if someone sets a home for guild access.

Not sure tho if it's due to the population limits per home

That's the only thing I can think of

If your house population fills up without you, can you still port there? I never even thought about that.

The population cap for guild houses could be higher than the default, but only for people who are a part of a guild you are also a member of. Like if it's at default max, only guild members can enter past that point.

There are no guild residences. I don't care how much you like your guildmaster; any gold or items you gave for a 'guild house' went to his or her personal homestead as far as ZOS is concerned. They will not be arbiters in any future dispute, nor is the current system an endorsement of communal ownership.

You support a 'guild house' at your own risk.

Shrug never had that issue in Hundings. I'd assume it caps one short but ...IDK honestly.

I miss housing in FFXIV so much. You can put food in your house for others to eat; you can get your own room in the guild residence and easily visit others' (I know, I know, in ESO you only need to right click their names, but it somehow feels very different. Guess I just love living in a guild dorm), tenant system, stewards, airships...the only downside is the high price of owning your own house, but it's also a bigger achievement.

I've yet to find a western MMO that does this well. All Asian MMOs I've played were pretty awesome when it comes to housing, pets, costumes, player shops...all also very microtransaction-friendly. Why don't you take my money, ZOS, by giving me a better housing and an actual transmog system?

Can someone make an add-on for this?

i.e. It adds a button to guild page that is linked to a specific user in the guild. Clicking that button is the same as clicking "visit primary residence" on that user's name.
