What's everyone's thought on this set up? Endgame viable?
Max CP
5x infallible aether
5x elegant
Back bar Maelstrom lightning staff charged
Liquid lightning, wall of elements, bound aegis, inner light, power surge
Front bar Masters lightning staff infused.
Bound aegis, inner light, destructive clench, crystal frag, mages wrath.
Rotation would be something like...liquid, wall, heavy attack, destructive, heavy attack, frag then repeat. Something along those lines anyway.

Don't, just don't. 5 Julianos, 3 Willpower/Infal/Moondancer, random monster will be better than this.

First of all, Infal Aether provides the same debuff as lightning damage (minor vulnerability), and I can keep this buff up 75% of the time on Target Skele solo without running Infal. So that part of the set is a waste. It's a decent buff to the base attack damage, but it's still only a 1k-2k dps increase.

As for Elegant, you are running a 5 piece set to give 20% more damage on your light/heavy attacks. But if you look at damage parses, a majority of your damage does not come from light/heavy attacks even on full heavy attack builds. So you are wasting a 5 piece set when you could replace it with something that buffs all your other abilities that are doing most of the damage.

Yeah tha set-up was crap. Tested and tested on the dummy and it just sucked. I just can't figure out a good heavy attack build.

Frags has no place on a heavy attack build. You will get off like 2 in a whole fight. This build does 36.5k self buffed on a dummy:

Gear: 5 Necro, 4 Moondancer, 2 ilambris (back bar VMA). Double lighting is best on a dummy, back bar fire is more in a raid.

Back Bar: Bound Aegis, LL, Blockade, Familiar, Daedric Prey, Meteor
Front Bar: Bound Aegis, Inner light, Familiar, Shield, Mages Wrath, Elemental Rage.

That is the trials version. We have to front bar elemental rage for our destro passives. On a dummy, drop your shield for elemental drain, and then swap your ultimates. We can do that because drain gives us a front bar destro skill.

Rotation: LA>LL, LA>Blockade, LA>Pet, LA>Prey, BAR SWAP, HAx2, Bar Swap, Repeat. When you get to execute, keep up your DOTS, but replace the HA x2 with LA>Mages Wrath x4.

This rotation will sustain infinitely with full spell damage glyphs and blue health/magic food. To take it a step further, after your second HA, you can swap cancel either an ele drain (for dummy parses) or a shield (for actual content). You wont lose any time off the rotation. It makes you very hard to kill as you basically will have a shield up about 70 percent of your rotation by default. You can always cast it again if you need.

Edit: if you are unwilling to run potions, then I would replace your execute for power surge.

If you are trying to get the VMA buff to your light/heavy attacks, Blockade needs to be cast from whatever bar where you have your VMA staff. On a sorc, we typically backbar blockade, so we back bar the VMA staff. The buff to your light attack does indeed carry over to your front bar. If you look there is actually a visual on your staff even on your front bar while blockade is active.
