Levelling champion too quickly because of Enlightenment.

Hi everyone.

I realise I'm something of an oddity but I prefer slow levelling. I find it more satisfying when I do level up. But I recently hit level 50 and it seems I'm going up in champion levels even faster than I was levelling normal levels. I've read about this Enlightenment mechanic thats intended to level you up faster. What I'd like to know if there's some way I can turn that off or opt out of it? Or some way to get around levelling so quickly?

Thanks guy.

You've got 630 champion points you need to earn to get caught up and unless you get to play 8 hours a day every day that's going to take most people the better part of 8months or so to get towards that cap, but by then that cap is likely to be raised another 60 points.

Yes, you earn them rather fast at the beginning, but it starts to slow way down further in.

Once you hit 200 CP they will really start to slow down.

Even while enlightened, at about 350, I get 2-3 for doing the daily random and maybe 1 from doing a pledge.

Once enlightenment runs out, it goes way slower. The first 100 go super fast but where I am at, it gets really slow.

I have no idea how much exp it actually takes to get to max CP, but each time they bump CP up they say that they make the lower levels easier to acquire. So that's why early on it takes so little time to burst your way up. once you hit 400CP or so it'll slow down to a nice pace.

because cp 100 is nothing and you need cp160 to start wearing actual end game gear just to START end game.

pugs today will punt you if you are not in cp160 gear and queue for a vet. vets are harder now and just being cp160 in blue gear is not enough to survive or contribute. you really don't want to be stuck in normal dungeons with their blue rewards for months on end do you?

i mean if you like that level of slowness, try lotro or everquest.

Limit yourself to 2 hours playtime a day and you get your slow leveling.

Unless your goal with this post was to make a statement. Then all I can tell you is: Everyone else doesn't prefer slow leveling.

    Good day.

just dont assign the gained cp.

i mean that way you wont get better...

or are you actually upset by the number in the top left of the screen part instead of the how it plays part?

if so, i suggest masking tape to cover the number o the screen.

Relax @Dixa I was just making a joke about how fast I've accumulated my CP. I'm well aware that 160 is the baseline.

Then you reach level 50 you get 2400K enlightenment who also is maximum stored, you get 400K new each day.
Enlightenment give 4 times the xp unless mistaken.
This combine with small xp requirements to level up make you level fast.
Its no reason not to level fast to 160, as gear you get or make at that point can be used by all you characters later.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
