2)Also, people who are in you block list shouldnt be able to see your messages and block list capacity should be increased.
3)I'm playing on EU server and there's many Russian players. Imo it would be great to have /ru chat channel, because seeing Russian messages all the time (in general zone chat) can be irritating I guess. For me, it has some minor annoyances. Like channel switching after typing, you have to scroll back to the start to use the /channel commend, click to set channels would be nice.
I'd also like a "friends" broadcast channel, so I can send a message to anyone online in my list at once.
And the ability to keybind channels, or cycle through using keybind.

✭✭2. Below requirementSome major issues with the chat system:
1) Non english symbols in character names:
This is confusing and making chat and communication troublesome.
Most players don't use those symbols but there are still many who do.
If it was possible to remove this strange symbols option, I would suggest to do so.
2) Ignore list doesn't allow more than 100 ignores:
There are thousands of players in a server, in character life time there is bound to be more than 100 players
who will disrupt your gameplay.
My ignore list is full for years.
I have to remove someone in order to ignore someone else.
Please increase the limit to 1,000 ignores.
3) Friends list is too short too: Due to this fact I have to be very restrictive when adding new friends.
Please increase the limit to 1,000 friends.
4) Other languages other than English in global Zone chat: I can understand that not all players know English, but to force everyone else to have to read unfamiliar language in global zone chat is irritating.
Please restrict other languages to separated zone chat/s.
5) User_ID is visible in guild/s/chat etc. : Allowing other players to read other players account names is a security vulnerability.
It may lead to account hacking.
I suggest to remove all User_ID visibility(including addons API) - If a player is added to ignore/friends/guild list, it will be shown as a character name and labeled by a unique gamer tag number/letters(not User_ID).

That's not available on your platform? We've had vicinity (zone) voice chat on PS4 since launch. Up until they brought text chat to console, it was heavily used. On Xbox at least.
I left PC cause it was only text chat....
Console text chat is far from average (in a negative sense) and it's often turned all the way off
I'd rather have had them not do one and instead allow group Xbox party chat.
You'd still have local or /s and /g but for /p or any PvP stuff, Xbox party chat would be my preference over anything this game offers as it's poor at best.

✭✭✭✭✭Although I'm aware that there is a zone chat channel, I haven't had it enabled since the PC launch and haven't missed it. I'm on the EU server and if I want to make a comment or ask a question etc I use the Zone English channel which otherwise only appears very rarely.0 -
