Equilibrium in 3.0.7 (Spell Symmetry/Balance) health cost calculation bugged
Mages Guild
- Equilibrium:
- This ability and its morphs’ Health to Magicka trade value is now determined by your character level, instead of scaling with your Max Health; it restores 3000 Magicka for 6000 Health at Rank IV.
- This ability and its morphs now reduce all of your healing done and damage shields you create by 50% for 4 seconds, instead of preventing you from healing yourself.
This ability's tooltip became bugged. The cost of 6000 health shown is NOT fixed numer and it's calculated like it was "damage dealing" effect. This seem to be affected by several factors:
- Mage Adept passive (reduce health+magicka by 15%) cost does NOT bring the initial 6000 health tooltop cost down to 5100 health as expected
- On high Spell Damage character the tooltip cost is around 6800 instead of 6000. I suppose it'is erroneously calculated as direct-damage - getting buffed from Spell Damage and Ironclad CP and probably even more factors.
- If you cast Merciless Resolve for Minor Berserk - the tooltip cost also becomes buffed by 8%.
As far as I know 7.2k is not 6k reduced by 15% but probably your genius math guys there at ZOS know it better.
PS. It's only a tip about the behavior after the 3.0.7 change. You guys go find yourself what exactly did you screw up in the code - that's what we pay you for. Thanks!
