Has anyone else had items disappear after depositing them in to a guild bank?

So I deposited 16 tempering alloys into a guild bank and they disappeared. I don't mean someone took them I mean the game glitched and never deposited them but took them out of my inventory. I checked every guilds deposit history for the guild that I am in to make sure I didn't make a mistake and none of them have them either. I checked my personal bank, my inventory and my craft bag multiple times I even checked my guild store listings to make sure I didn't post them up for some crazy reason. They just completely disappeared. Has anyone else had his happen? I submitted a ticket to ZoS so I guess I'll see if anything comes of that.

It's a fairly common bug. Contact support and they can restore the items for you.

Just make sure you noted the exact time it happened.

It happens sometimes when the bank hasn't loaded fully eg due to lag etc. Always wait till it seems it is fine. Best bet is what you did and create a ticket. They know it is happening and often replace items. Just give as much detail as possible

Yeah it can happen quite a lot. I happened to lose 100k gold over a year ago and after contacting support they didn't return my gold. But from what I've heard they usually do. I guess I just got someone on a bad day

Thanks for the help guys. It kinda sucks that this seems to be a common issue, I provided very specific information to ZoS on what happened so hopefully I get those returned.

Yep been a bug on PC for a month plus now right...even acknowledged by ZOS for gold and so maybe it's not a focus but beware it's happening on all platforms

loss a few disguises at the bank of rawl'kha right after the morrowind patch...

was cleaning out my characters with the additional 240 bank slots becoming available...

should have known better - the whole area was super laggy at the time...

soon as i scrolled down to disguises and started depositing them they all disappeared (only had 3 or 4 in the characters inventory fortunately)...

next time I see the game lagging really badly like that again - I'm gonna stay the heck away from doing any bank business...

Yeah this happened to me in the Rivinspire bank. Rivinspire is super laggy too usually

ESO's Client/Server code has always been abysmal, this is just another example of complete incompetence.

Implementing a proper handshake is not rocket surgery yet here we are, 4 years later and items are still lost in space on a daily basis ...
