What Damage Shield for DW Stamplar

So far I use Evasion -> Elude but it works bad, only 1-2 Times every 10 enemy hits, which is not enough eg while soloing lesser world bosses.
Doing the same easily with MagSorc, with 27k damage shield every 6 secs - it cannot be compared equally and it's very unfair.
So what options have the stamina templar when it comes for damage shields?
Sacrify 2 medium armor parts and jewellery (actually Viper Set) and exchange to Hatchling's Shell Set (heavy)? Is this choice the only one and good enough?
If only the Templar's Aedric Spear Sun Shield had a stamina version for stamplars...

✭Channeled focus? Grants you Major defense buffs. Momentum from two-handed gives you a self HoT. Vigor gives you another stamina heal. Repentance heals and restores your Stamina assuming you have killed some mobs.Kiss the chaos.1 -

Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS0 -

✭As stated in topic, it's DW build, I'm not willing to change for 2H.
I already have Vigor, but what I lack is defence skill. Exactly an equivalent of light armor damage shield but for stamina medium. If it's about soloing world bosses, that Repentance is useless.
Only Channeled Focus, which I use, but still not enough.
As an option to Hatchling, maybe Whitestrake's Retribution?
My 2-nd set is Red Mountain with daggers, I could exchange it for Whitestrake's, if it would be better.
Damn, pls. make a stamina version of Sun Shield or add some damage shield to Evasion

✭✭✭✭✭Stamina Templar is out DPS'ing magic sorc in morrowind. Also, Stamina is across the board out DPSing magic single target and they are much better with resources.
Your main mitigation is in the form of deadly cloak. If you are looking for a shield, you are in luck. The new DK high health meta means everyone gets 10k+ shields. Stamina got a lot of buffs this patch, you just need to use them appropriately.0 -

Draqone✭✭✭✭Stamina does not have a good damage shield. Go with a crafted set like Hundings Rage and do this:
Heavy armor on chest + 1 other big piece
23k HP
It should result in enough effective HP and your damage shouldn't suffer all that much. Hundings is good also because the +WD is good for your heal strength.ESO Balance:

With the changes to CP Stam reductions, pick either block or dodge roll and put enough points to get a20% reduction in one. Id pick dodge roll if you are using medium armor since you'll get 15-20 reduction already and adding another 15-20 means your 5k dodge roll now becomes 3000-2500.Minno - DC - Forum-plar Extraordinaire

Which is why the OP is wondering where the stam equivalent to having a 20k ward is. As I recall, stacking max magicka gives you-

Great offense in damage scaling.
I don't want everyone to have it all, but I can totally see someone being miffed about stamina not having a damage shield. That's one of the reasons they don't frequent trials in progression as much as magicka. Mercifully, ZoS buffed defense through dw but... idk, seems kinda lopsided.

Can confirm this is decent for solo play.1
