Everyone is talking about high latency and disconnects?

I see everyone talking about recent high latency and disconnects, while i know that can be very annoying i must say i never encountered any of those problems. No lag spikes no unnecessary disconnects.

Khajiit did experience a very annoying week long burst of these recently. The first time this one logged into Vvardenfell she was immediately booted out three times.

One possible suspect was the graphic drivers which were updated just before Morrowind - when the issues began for this one - but then needed to be updated again a week after - making this one suspect their involvement in the disconnections.

Another issue may have been addons that have not yet been updated - and in many cases may never be. Khajiit suspects Harvest Map was causing some issues as some lag spikes and disconnections began occurring again until this one she disabled this.

Saying that a couple of nights ago one of the apprentices had lag spikes and disconnections for no apparent reason at all until there was relogging.

Khajiit may ask, for others may find it useful, what platform and server are you on yes?

I had 2 endless loading screen. Also my bear seems to like to eat ashlanders. I was sneaking through the camp and my bear decided to run off and kill one. Other than that I can't complain about anything. Runs great.

I am playing on PS4 and sometimes on PC European servers, sorry for not including that.

High latency, huge spikes and some DCs every now and again.

Since morrowind early acces, i keep getting kicked from servers every 2-3 hours and it happens complety random.
Sometimes browsing a guild vendor, riding thought a forest or tanking that last pledge boss.

I haven't had any big issues except a couple of spikes and a single disconnect at the beginning of open access, but since then everything's been fine for me. The only issue I've come across on a more frequent basis is the occasional "micro-loading screen", every now and then (i assume it's when you cross instancing lines) I've been getting the loading screen picture flash up for a fraction of a second.

It is known.

Video drivers are not the issue for me.
Harvest map continues to work
along with other addons, except shissu's memory manager thang.

Khajiit is advised to run after other false-mice.

Oh Harvest Map still works - as do many of the other out of date addons.

This one she just suspects it may have been contributing to some of the issues yes.

Playing from South Africa, absolute best ping I can get using a VPN is 230 on a good day despite BattlePing showing 180ms.

The last week my average has been around 350-450 with lag spikes ranging from 6000 all the way up to 11000 combined with timeouts and server disconnects. I'm avoiding group content and anything tougher than Dolmen's and Delve's due to spikes.

No latency issue but constant, chronic DCs that affect everyone on the network.

I don't think mines game related though.

I couldn't stay connected for more than 2 minutes today. DC immediately upon login. That stuff.

Loading screens seem a bit longer than normal, and had a couple lockups. Skyreach was choking hard on big pulls yesterday, too.

@JimT722 It's because they have that 'smokey" flavor built in.
