✭✭✭✭✭Things like this make me wish I could keep stolen items in my house. Not for any practical reason, just because they amuse me and I'd like to keep them around.
That's what I did in previous TES games. One chest/cupboard was basically my 'bank' where I kept useful stuff I didn't want right now and valuable stuff my merchantile skill wasn't high enough to sell. The rest of the house was used to store random things I found and thought were interesting.
