Add-ons from Minion not showing up in the game

My video card crapped out on me and wouldn't work under strain (surf web-ok, play ESO not ok). So I ordered a new one. I also had my HDD crap out so I installed Win 10 on my SSD. (I think my computer issues came from a power surge, not 100% sure)

Anyway... While waiting on my card to arrive in the mail I installed ESO and started to download minion and several add-ons. Once my card came in (today!) I fired up ESO and everything worked. But when I went to configure my add-ons none were popping up. So I closed out of ESO and uninstalled/reinstalled my add-ons. Still not showing up. So I went to the settings gear (next to your minion login info) and did a force "reset add-on detection" a force "reset game detection" and a force "reset allowed hard drives". Nothing still popped up.

ESO and minion and add-ons are all located on the same SSD at:
C:\Users\ACCOUNT NAME\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\NameOfAddOnHere

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

I don't personally use Minion (nor Win10 yet).

The Minion Devs and the Minion user community frequent that forum more than here I think.

What does in-game add-ons page show? Not the esc, settings, addon settings, but esc, add-ons.

Helediron, I'll check when I get home after work. I believe it's just a vanilla looking install. However, that could be the one you are suggesting not to look at. I'll double check.

If you did a reinstall, you probably have to set the "out of date addons" flag anew.

Also, by default, minion only installs to one server, so if you installed to PC NA, you won't see them on PC EU

I had an another problem with minion addons. I installed minion, installed some addonsit, they have effect on the game, but them if I want to enter the setting menu for that particular addon, I can not find the addon in the list (some addons create a separate list, but I can not find that addon in the separate list either).
funny thing is, that most of the addons do appear in the addon setting menu, but some addons dont.

any clues how to solve this?

I'd first confirm that the add-on has settings options. I'm no add-on dev, and Ravalox would give a much more accurate answer, but I'm under the impression that an author has to build for settings options else they would provide some hook into keybinds to open the ui of the add-on. Case in point: Wykkyd's Macros. There are no settings options I've ever seen and the only way to access the add-on is to assign a hot-key to open the Macro Window. And I'm sure there are addon's with no settings or UI as they perform more like a library or do something that's not configurable by the player.

Looks like I installed the game to OneDrive and Minion add-ons to C:/ ARRGG!

Quick couple of questions. How do I move the game to my SSD. Is it as simple as a copy and paste from OneDrive to the SSD? How do I make the game know that the file path is located on the C:/ and not on OneDrive?

Thanks... I feel like an idiot, but have absolutely no idea how I installed it to that path!

I've been able to move game directories (already installed) across drives. The operating system doesn't care what form the hardware is in: SS vs spinning disks. It considers the drive logically, so you should be able to just move (but play it safe and copy until you confirm all is in order) the game and all of it's directories in their entirety to the SSD. You'll need to just update how you launch the game. If you have shortcuts pointing to the old location, you'll need to update those.

I say SHOULD because it's possible that things are incorrectly hardcoded but I'm 99% confident that all of the referencing the game does it based on the path it resides in. If we have the option to specify where our addons are located that should be in the game settings accessible from the login screen of the game (not the launcher).

I didn't see where to change the location of the shortcut or where the game looks at for a directory.
Although, everything seems to run pretty smooth so maybe I won't jack with it. I was thinking if it's on the "OneDrive" it could cause lag or network issues since that is a cloud. But so far I don't think I have seen much of anything. But I haven't ran into a PvP zone yet.... soooo...?

I am still having issues. I reinstalled the game a day or so ago. Downloaded Minion and all the updates for the addons. It is not showing in the addon menu in TESO. If I go into the game it is not showing their either. I have made sure that the directory C:\Users\ACCOUNT NAME\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\ with all the addons is there. Reloading the UI in game still does not work...

I am at wits end. Any advice?

I know this thread is old, but I'm on windows 10 and changing folders fixed it for me. My game was on the onedrive folder.

erm my eso can't be on one drive as i had it installed before i got the upgrade to windows 10, but i seem to have some of these troubles.

Help Ticket Question Reference # 170607-004460

Minion managed Add-Ons also do not appear for me, either. Add-Ons appear in Live client folder and are all up-to-date in Minion.

Submitted a /bug report and this Trouble Ticket. Of course ESO Support replied Add-Ons are not officially supported. I'll report this to MMOUI, as well as this post.
