How many wardens are there?

Rellick1313
So I haven't visited morrowind yet on the Xbox one and have seen one warden. This makes me curious because I love the idea of a warden class and considered making it my alt, but didn't want to be one of the huge chunk of people that are playing t at release due to it being new and fresh. Then I realized that I don't think most people, when comparing the Druid nature aspect of the warden to say Fire and dragons or shadow and blood, would choose that theme over the other classes already in the game.

This thought led me to wonder, how many people plan on maining the warden class now that it's out? How does the warden class fare so far in dps, heals, and tanking? Just wondering how much of the player base likes and will stick with wardens in the future.

You should just play it! What does it matter how many there are?

Admittedly I do have one made and ran through the tutorial but I'm still maxing out my main DK and crafting skills on it. Once that's done I'll start my warden. I just wanted to know if wardens are scarce and disliked or pleanty and liked.

How many are maining is very different from how many people are playing a Warden right now. I'd say about half he characters I've seen in Vvardenfell since Early Access started have been Wardens, going by the fact that there are so. Many. Bears.

But many of those Wardens are likely long-time players who have an established main with lots of lore books, skill points, and achievements, so it's highly unlikely that a long-time player is going to make their baby character their main. But many of them (us?) are leveling Wardens right now, that much is clear. It's the new and shiny thing, after all.

Personally, I've added two Wardens to my roster of alts, so I'll be sticking with them for a long time... they're just not my primary character.

    Living vicariously through my characters.

    My Girls:
"If you were trapped in your house for, say, a year, how would you pass the time?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "I suppose I could use the break. I have a lot of business holdings now that need management."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "I think that I would enjoy writing a memoir."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "Would this one be able to go outside, to the nearby river? It's hard to fish without water!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "And why would I want to go outside in the first place? Too much to be done in the workshop."
Lorelai Magpie, breton master thief: "I'd go nuts. Lucky for me, I have a little experience sneaking out!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "I would continue my training to keep my skills sharp."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "I suppose it would be lucky, then, that I built a shrine to Mephala in my backyard."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hate being inside even when I'm not forced to be. GET. ME. OUT."
Madam Argentia, vampire dunmer aristocrat: "I suppose it would be more of the same. I have a rather... contentious relationship with the sun."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'd have to house train my bear..."
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "What Lorelai said."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one would like a rest from her grand adventures. Her jewel shop runs out of stock!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "Provided that I am confined to Artaeum, I do not think I will want for things to occupy my time."
Shauna Blackfire, redguard necromancer: "Sounds like paradise. I hate people."
Kirniel the Undying, cursed bosmer warrior: "I would feel useless, not being able to fight."
Echoes-from-Dragons, argonian who thinks she's a dragon: "All the better to count my hoard!"

(Signature idea shamelessly stolen from Abeille.)

Personally, I love the idea of having a bear guardian and running around in my own entourage, so that I literally never have to interact with anyone again except to trade (oh, this is an MMO?). Always been a pet class kind of player. Doesn't matter to me if everyone else has a bear right now... it'll dwindle!
