Regen: how low is too low (PvE)?

I've just got my Bosmer stamden up to level 50 so I've kitted him out nicely for mainly overland PvE: 5 Spriggans (including Robust jewelry), 5 Night Terror and 1 7th Legion Cuirass. Without any further tweaking he's got 28k stamina at 1555 regen, which is fine. However, his health regen is 321 and I'm like, really? In principle, that's about 40 seconds to regen his fairly low 13k default health. Is it viable to have regen that low? Even his magicka regen is higher (500+) and I've put nothing extra into it!

"Instead of taking the best of the dolmens (predictable rotation), the best of the geysers (scalability based on number of players), and the best of the dragons (map location and health indicators) and adding them together to make a fun and dynamic world event scenario, they gave us....... harrowstorms." https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/6850523/#Comment_6850523

    regen jewelry glyphs?
Sarcasm is something too serious to be taken lightly

I was born with the wrong sign
    In the wrong house
    With the wrong ascendancy
    I took the wrong road
That led to the wrong tendencies
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time
For the wrong reason and the wrong rhyme
On the wrong day of the wrong week
Used the wrong method with the wrong technique

I don't think anyone relies on health regen for healing (outside of specifically building for it). As a Stamplar, isn't Repentance your go to heal/stamina restore?

As others noted, health regen isn't all it's cracked up to be. If using 2h, slot rally. If using dual wield; bloodthirst, blood craze, and rend are your friends. Or roll stam sorc and rofl through on surge heals xD

Health regen works best in PvP where there is very little counterplay to it, unlike regular heals (defiles, cost increase etc).

I may put a health regen glyph on one of the Spriggans rings, at least that'll get it closer to 500.

Stamden, not stamplar. I've got Arctic Wind on both bars but it doesn't seem enough.

I haven't unlocked Rally yet, but even if I do it begs the question of what to sacrifice. With Arctic Wind also slotted that would leave only three offensive skills. I'll see what I can come up with.

But why wind? Even vines (with lifesteal morph) is better, and mushrooms stam morph is great.

Wind is because I've unlocked Animal Companions and Winter's Embrace. I haven't had time to even touch Green Balance, which is pretty much totally group oriented and I mostly play solo.

    My mistake. I misread.

Green balance might have aoe heals but they are extremely useful solo as well. Warden is the only class that has a direct, un-conditional stamina heal straight off the bat and you should be utilising it.

How do you get a character to level 50 while ignoring an entire skill line? Why even? I understand prioritizing certain lines but once skills in those lines reach their morphs (very easy to hit) you could train other skills. Leveling up morphs takes an exponentially longer time for a minimal difference.

Mushrooms is first skill in line and it's very fast and easy to morph. It's very efficient stamina heal (and self-heal too). I am not even speaking of some usefull passives you're loosing ignoring that line.
