The most major benefit would be that it was Gold Quality, and therefore looked more complete in your inventory

So no, there is no major benefit of using Gold jewelry. The stat difference is minimal.

However, they come with a free gold Magicka Regen enchant and some gold jewelry pieces are relatively easy to obtain.

If you are OCD maybe,

Personally I wouldn't pay 500k for a set of gold rings just to raise my stats by an insignificant amount.
Use google and you can see pics of gold versus purple jewelry. The stats are stupid small. The only instance where you want a gold replacement would be your weapon.

Gold quality beside weapons are not worth the price. However Goldjuwelry and gear increases your max stats by about 1/20

I believe the bonuses from the set will be slightly increased (the overall benefit, last i checked, was an average of your quality)

The biggest reason IMO, would be for the gold enchantments vs. purple enchantments in addition to the base stat differences.

There's a BIG difference between purple gear and gold gear but I can't say the same for the jewelry, weapons neither.

If you wanna gold something just gold your main hand weapon (never the off-hand because it's 10 weapon damage more for 8 Tempers) and your favorite or most used set.

People say the difference is very small - it is when you look at only one piece that is gold and you compare it to its purple counterpart. BUT if you campare two full characters - One in complete purple items and one in complete gold items - you will see a BIG difference in power and resources.

Realistically, the buff between Gold and Purple isn't large but a buffs a buff, regardless of how you slice it.

Small increases to the set bonuses, and small increases to it's attribute enchantment. 870 stamina at gold quality for example. So no your not missing out on much.

@Potenza Except that it's not the difference between full gold and full purple. The jewelry will only ever affect 3 pieces of a set, and in that, the difference is often minor compared to the cost.

Full legendary vs full purple, sure. But the jewelry itself rarely warrants the kind of gold/time/rng required.

Its more important with some sets than others. You can put gold enhants on purple jewelry, so that part is a wash. All of your 2-4 bonus will be a few points higher with gold jewelry, but that is pretty minimal. Where the distinction comes in is that some 5 piece sets are flat bonuses regardless of quality, others scale with quality. On the later, gold jewelry is more important.

It's a very small upgrade. Gold is worth it if your really pushing progression or scores.
