Hi guys,
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to start this thread, if it's not I apologize first!

I just recently got into ESO PS4 and now I am very confused with all these DLC/PSN account region locking. I will give a brief description below and appreciate if anyone can help me to understand it and solve my confusion.

So I have an Australian PSN account, but the game shops here sell mostly R2(EU) and R3(ASIA) game disc. I've did my research and found out Australia is categorized under R4 (correct me if I'm wrong). So, I've bought Elder Scrolls Online disc (R2) and I want to pre-order the Morrowind DLC from the AU PS store.

But since my physical disc is R2, will the DLC be compatible if I buy it from the AU PS Store? Some articles tells me the DLC will not install and you will not be entitled for a refund.

If that's the case, what do I have to do in order to play the DLC with the disc format I have? I don't plan on spending $109.99 and can't use it or get a refund if anything goes wrong.

Appreciate all the feedback and thanks in advance!!!

I thought PlayStation lifted region restrictions. Could have sworn I read this somewhere. Maybe it was Xbox? Idk OP sorry I wasn't of any help.

As I remember you may have to set regional when starting up PS4 to Europe or the like but not sure maybe someone else can chime in or check out start up regional posts from Aussies ps4
    Aussie lag is real!

Have a problem with region locking too.

I bought ESO for Morrowind, but figured I'd start earlier to get to know the game. Now I have a Region 2 (EU) disc, but an asian (region 3) PSN account, because I live in Taiwan (expat).

Now I can't buy morrowind, because the asian playstation store doesn't list it. Even when choosing "purchase" from ESO itself.

This is kind of ridiculous, because it's supposed to be a worldwide release, and I purchased ESO for Morrowind...
