Now that ZoS has released the biggest most ridiculous eyesore in the history of ESO, I think we officially need an option to hide certain other players mounts as default horses. Just because someone else wants to run around looking ridiculous doesn't mean I should have to see people riding around on nonsensical dwarven spiders. ZoS: you made this mess, let us at least sweep it under the rug.

Sorry, Illusion staffs don't exist in this game, so you can't fool yourself into seeing only brown sorrel horses.

I'm less annoyed about the spider than the glowy senche, or the atro mounts, or the spriggan mounts, or the ice/fire/zombie horse.
For me this is a period in Tamriel where magic is clearly gone unbalanced and a lot of strange creations are cropping up.
While I prefer plainer mounts, to each their own. I don't know if people would buy the shiny ones if they could not show them off to others.

So people should be able to force things on us because they like to? I'm pretty sure there are laws about that irl... All ZoS needs to do is add a little checklist for which mounts you want to hide, then people can have their ridiculous spiders and we don't have to see them. They get what they payed for, and the rest of us don't get our experience lessened just because they want to make their character look as crazy as possible.

1. No one is forcing you to buy and ride the mount, 2. you're literally twisting that argument to serve your agenda. 3. This is an unnecessary feature you are suggesting, and a major reason many people buy the mount in the first place is to show it off. Don't be ridiculous.. 5./thread

1. They are forcing me to see it, which is the problem. 2. This is the exact argument i made at the start, you're the only one twisting it. 3. It was absolutely made necessary when they decided to add a mount that completely breaks immersion. 4. You buy mounts so you can see yourself riding it, you don't get to decide to make me look at that eyesore. 5. not your thread to end.
I AGREE! This is a serious world where mechanical spiders already exist by the thousands and in all sizes, and where Sorcerers can summon lightning golems at will, but GOD FORBID anyone should try to sit on one of them!!! That's absurd!!! People should only sit on HORSES! How can my eyes tolerate seeing such horrible, lore breaking stupidity roaming around all over the place?!? It completely shatters my immersion! The world should only have robot spiders and lightning rock monsters that live wild and free! Or follow us around like pets, or are summoned to fight for us!

So, because you think it's ugly you don't want to see it? Does this mean I can ask for people I find ugly to stay indoors so I don't have to see them? Of course not.
Grow up, and deal with it. You don't like it. Oh well. I do. Oh well. And no gameplay was effected in the end.

Despite your pathetic attempt a sarcasm, the points you pretended to bring up are valid.
