    Since Dagger fall I wanted a true tes multiplayer game
    I thought to myself thus would be great if I can have party of my friends share the world with me
    While I love ESO it does lose alot to compromising to MMO standards

    I don't see any prospect of getting a TES 6 as I'm sure Zenimax Inc. won't want to lose the large number of players from ESO who would inevitably jump at the chance of playing another 'real' TES game .. all Bethesda have been allowed to do is come up with Skyrim SE which while not bad is hardly an improvement over the original considering the vast number of mods which make it look and play far better than SSE.

    Beth is always hush hush about every project until the year of release. I see this theory on every single youtube trailer put out for ESO updates and DLCs, and I still can't wrap my head around how so many people think that this game currently is (or will continue to, at least) be a bigger cash cow than another singleplayer title :p

    I won't deny the appeal of it. It would be a blast. But as you said, compromise. If they were to add this into the single player series, there would need to be compromises there as well. Graphical fidelity, world size, quests etc would all or some suffer to enable this feature, especially to make it run well on consoles. I feel like it would be a step backwards. Keep ESO as the multiplayer game and starting pushing the hell out of the engine for the single player series to give us Witcher 3 caliber world.

    That was just the latest fake rumour of many fake rumours. That guy also claimed TES7 will go back to Daggerfall scale (which would mean literally millions of dungeons), take place across all of Tamriel, and will have full destruction so you can destroy any building/tree in the game. It was clearly a Bethesda fan having a wet dream.

    All we know for sure is TES6 is a long way away, and Bethesda have two big projects releasing before it, one of which is a brand new IP (presumably Starfield).
